Red Band Trailer for Sin City: A Dame To Kill For

8 hours ago | GeekTyrant | See recent GeekTyrant news »

There is a new red-band trailer for Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, and I am not totally sure why it’s a red-band trailer. I guess it’s because Eva Green is naked a few times, but she’s in silhouette, so it’s not like you can actually see any of her bits. And yes, there are several scenes of Jessica Alba stripping, but she is still the most modest stripper in human history, so… I don’t know. If you work at a place that lets you watch atmospheric gangster types hold guns and angst all over the screen while the women around them wear little to nothing, then it might be safe for work?

The sequel opens on August 22, and the massive cast also includes Mickey Rourke, Josh Brolin, Powers Boothe, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis, Dennis Haysbert, Martin Csokas, Rosario Dawson, Jamie Chung, Jamie King, »

Sin City: A Dame to Kill For - can Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez do it again? We're close to finding out, but I'm running out perpetual enthusiasm for hyper-stylized green-screen after 9 years. The original Sin City was the last one that worked for me.

Jessica Alba Goes Crazy In Sin City: A Dame To Kill For Clip, Plus New Photos

3 July 2014 9:05 AM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

I’m beyond excited for August’s Sin City: A Dame To Kill For, in which Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez return to the seedy locale of their stylized 2006 noir hit. The flick looks completely awesome, with the addition of talented actors like Eva Green and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, along with returning faves like Jessica Alba and Mickey Rourke. One thing that has been a little tricky for the film’s marketing department to nail down, however, is exactly how Sin City: A Dame To Kill For is going to feel.

In the second clip from the movie, we see Alba’s stripper Nancy Callahan seething after the death of her longtime mentor and protector John Hartigan (Bruce Willis). There’s definitely a lot of style going on in the clip, but it feels oddly slight. Perhaps we’ll need to wait until the R-rated version hits screens to see whether the pulpy, »

Rosario Dawson Has A Nasty Surprise In First Sin City: A Dame To Kill For Clip

20 June 2014 6:42 AM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

Finally, this summer will see the arrival of Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, a follow-up to Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller’s 2005 insta-classic film noir Sin City. Genre fans have been patiently biding their time until the sequel’s August release, but it’s hard not to get excited when the marketing department is unveiling posters like this and trailers as crazily awesome as this. Now, the first clip for the movie has landed online.

Though it does suffer from a lack of context, the clip finds Rosario Dawson’s Gail, a slinky femme fatale who led the prostitutes of Old Town in a fight against corrupt police in the first Sin City, living dangerously. She seductively presses herself against the hood of a car, much to the glee of a nameless henchman. It’s only when she baits him enough to be nearby when she opens the trunk, »

Frank Miller hints at Sin City 3 movie

13 June 2014 1:50 AM, PDT | Digital Spy | See recent Digital Spy - Movie News news »

Frank Miller has hinted that a third Sin City film could be in the works.

The creator of the titular comic has said that he is beginning to plan another outing for his noir property.

"As a matter of fact, my involvement in Sin City 2 right now is mainly I'm working with [director Robert Rodriguez], I'm sort of ad libbing on the edit, I'm saying 'let's lose this scene, let's keep this shot' but he's such an expert editor he doesn't need that much help," said Miller on a Reddit Ama this week.

"But I am able to help work on the characters a bit more, and make the entire thing feel very Sin City, because it has a very particular tone to it, a very particular intent. I don't talk too much about what Sin City is because it's really my secret.

"Meanwhile, the other thing I'm eager to do and »
