Ivana Chubbuck's students have included Jared Leto, Halle Berry, Charlize Theron, James Franco, Terrence Howard, Elisabeth Shue, Catherine Keener, Djimon Hounsou, America Ferrera, Eva Mendes, Kate Bosworth, Jim Carrey, Radha Mitchell, Carrie-Anne Moss, Jessica Biel, Amy Brenneman, Kate Walsh, Amy Smart, Eriq La Salle, Marcia Cross, Matthew Perry, David Boreanaz, Emily Deschanel, and Beyoncé Knowles. Her book, The Power of the Actor: The Chubbuck Technique, is described as "the 12-step acting technique that will take you from script to a living, breathing, dynamic character". The book has been adopted for use as a textbook in many colleges and universities around the world, and has been translated into languages such as Chinese, Danish, Hebrew, Italian, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, and Spanish. Chubbuck has taught at The Juilliard School of Drama in New York, and has held seminars and workshops in Australia, Canada, Denmark, Italy, Israel, Russia, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Romania, and the Philippines. Chubbuck was honored by The Russian International Film Festival (she is of Russian descent) with a lifetime achievement award for her contributions to the film industry alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, William Friedkin, and Francis Ford Coppola. Acting and dialogue coach.
Some of the actors she has worked with, as an acting coach and teacher, during her 25-plus year career include Academy Award winners and nominees: Halle Berry, Brad Pitt, Charlize Theron, Terence Howard, Jake Gyllenhaal, Elisabeth Shue, Catherine Keener, Kate Hudson, Jon Voight and Djimon Hounsou. Virtually every year, Ivana's students are well represented at the Academy Awards, Emmys, Golden Globes, Tonys, and many other international awards. For the 2006 Academy Awards, Ivana's students were nominated in every acting category: Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress.
She has also been a guest master teacher at The Juilliard School of Drama in New York, teaching a selected group of premiere fourth year students.
Honored by The Russian International Film Festival (she is of Russian decent) with a lifetime achievement award for her contributions to the film industry, alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, William Friedkin and Francis Ford Coppola.

Currently her book is being adopted for use as a textbook in many colleges and universities across the country, as well as being translated into a number of languages around the world.
