"General Hospital" Actor John Ingle Dies in L.A. at 84

New York (AP) -- An actor who for two decades played a scheming patriarch on the daytime drama "General Hospital" has died in Los Angeles. ABC says John Ingle was 84.Ingle took over the role as the ruthless Edward Quartermaine in 1993 and made his final appearance in an episode airing last week. He died Sunday.In a career spanning more than 30 years he had acting credits in TV shows including "Days of Our Lives," "Big Love" and "The Drew Carey Show" and in films such as "Batman and Robin" and "Heathers."The native of Tulsa, Okla., was a graduate of Occidental College. He taught at Hollywood High School, UCLA and Beverly Hills High School.His wife of 57 years, Grace-Lynne Martin, died in February. Watch: Arnold Schwarzenegger Is Leaving Hilarious Voicemail Messages for Contest Winners

As part of a contest for his upcoming autobiography Total Recall, Arnold Schwarzenegger has been offering custom voicemail messages to fans who enter the giveaway on his site. So far over 26,000 people have entered, and each week one random person's name will be drawn by the Terminator himself, who will then reward them with a personalized audio file. The contest ends when the book hits shelves on October 1. If you weren’t following our Twitter feed or our Facebook page in real time on Saturday night (and good heavens, why weren’t you?) the 2012 Harvey Awards were given out at the Baltimore Comic-Con. Daredevil was the big winner of the night with four wins for Best Series, Best New Series, Best Inker and Best Writer. Hark! A Vagrant‘s Kate Beaton won three with Best Online Comics Work, the Special Award for Humor, and Best Cartoonist. Jim Henson’s Tale Of Sand by Ramon Perez won two for Best Original Graphic Album and Best Story, tying Walt Simonson’s The Mighty Thor: Artist’s Edition with wins for Best Domestic Reprint Project and the Special Award for Excellence in Presentation, and J.H. Williams on Batwoman snagging Best Artist and Best Cover Artist.

The New Year brings a slew of fresh starts and Witchblade bearer, Sara Pezzini, is no exception. Pezzini will start 2012 in Chicago with a new job and brand new life, thanks to the fresh ongoing creative team of Tim Seeley (Hack/Slash) and Diego Bernard (The Man With No Name).

Sara Pezzini has always been a born and bred New York City detective, in addition to wielding the ancient Artifacts, the Witchblade.
