This is truly a blast from the past. For those keeping track, Twisted Pictures (the producers behind the Saw films) announced The Tortured in 2007 during the peak of Saw mania, a staggering 5 years ago! It’s a bit ironic seeing this getting released now since the once in vogue torture genre has evaporated as of late but every film deserves it’s due, especially if said film stars horror veteran Bill Moseley! Luckily IFC swooped in and acquired it, which is now available on VOD and will be given a limited theatrical release beginning June 15th. IFC has also cut a new trailer which we’ve included below, was this worth the wait faithful readers?
Synopsis: “Craig (Jesse Metcalfe) and Elise (Erika Christensen) had all the ingredients for an ideal life: a great marriage, a wonderful five-year-old son, a charming home and a bright future. Then, on one sunny day, »

For most viewers, there's no way to take a look at that Twisted Pictures logo and feel at ease. Sure, it's intimidating all on it's own -- dark lowercase lettering separated by barbed-wire, inky shadows. But it's an entirely different sort of fear that emerges from the house that James Wan built. The company piggybacked off three "Saw" films before it decided to expand into other hoary, blood-soaked horror cheapies, most of them in the direct-to-video realm. With "Saw" over, however, Twisted Pictures still has a few leftovers from the torture porn trend, and one is 2010's "The Tortured," currently, finally receiving a VOD release.
Jesse Metcalfe and Erika Christensen play a perfect Movie Couple, one who laughs and loves together, the type of duo that hold each other just a bit longer than usual when one heads to work in the morning. They care for a young, ideal Movie Child, »

Get ready for Bill O'Reilly to be absolutely scandalized, folks. "Parenthood" is coming back to NBC! You'll want to stock up on tissues, as NBC has officially alerted the cast and crew of "Parenthood" that they'll be returning to the set to shoot Season 4.
The bad news is that the drama has only been picked up for 15 episodes beginning in Fall 2012, but there's always the chance that NBC may extend the order, as they did this past season.
The regular cast will return, including Lauren Graham, Peter Krause, and Erika Christensen. Additionally, Jason Ritter -- who once again has been cast in another pilot this season -- has promised to return to his role as Mark, if only to wrap up some storylines... like that whole engagement-to-Sarah thing.
We can't wait to see what's next for our Bravermans. And whether or not Sarah and Amber open a bakery. Or an inn. »

Robert Lieberman's thriller, The Tortured, has been acquired by IFC Films and is ready to make its U.S. premiere next month.
Back in 2010, the title was acquired by Gigapix, however, it has languished on the shelf since then. Horror fans overseas have been able to check out the film as it has been released in other territories.

After years of heartbreak and torrid affairs with pretty cellists, it’s finally happened: Crosby and Jasmine are man and wife. But while last night’s emotionally gratifying finale definitively closed some long-open doors, there are still plenty of unanswered questions lingering over the Braverman family.
EW was on set earlier this month with the entire cast as they shot the on-again, off-again couple’s nuptials. Though NBC has yet to pick up the beloved family drama for a fourth season, Peter Krause, Lauren Graham, Dax Shepard and Co. have a variety of hopes and dreams for their characters, and the show in general. »

The sprawling, intense, but ultimately loving Braverman family has been mercilessly tugging at viewers’ heartstrings for three years. We’ve seen devastating fights, numerous heartbreaks, and, most recently, a last-minute adoption letdown that would make even Crosby shed a tear or two. Thankfully, this infinitely relatable family will end the season with reason to celebrate: Crosby and Jasmine’s long-awaited, but ultimately last minute, backyard wedding.
EW was on set with Peter Krause, Dax Shepard, Joy Bryant and Co., as they filmed the wedding spectacular earlier this month, giving us a front-row seat to the nuptial action. According to the groom, »

It was the best of times and it was the worst of times on last week's Parenthood. Jasmine (Joy Bryant) professed her love for Crosby (Dax Shepard), just as his sister, Julia, (Erika Christensen) learned the heart-breaking news that she was not going to be a mother again.
And don't push those tissue boxes away just yet. "I'm really proud of the finale. It was one of those episodes where so many things come together and it's got good humor, it's emotional," showrunner Jason Katims tells TVGuide.com. "It's a nice mix of seeing some things come to a really satisfying ending and on the other hand, opening up...

This week's episode of "Parenthood" (Tuesdays at 10 p.m. Est on NBC) certainly brought a lot of tears, but the ensemble cast made up for it by releasing an adorable, smile-worthy music video set to a cover of Lfo's "Girl On TV," which Teen Vogue exclusively posted.
Musician Landon Pigg -- who is dating "Parenthood" star Mae Whitman, who plays Amber on the hour-long drama -- did a cover of the 1999 boy band hit and the Whitman's fellow cast members stepped in to make an accompanying music video.
Pairing off, the video mainly features Whitman, Miles Heizer (Amber's brother, Drew), Bonnie Bedelia (their grandmother Camille), Craig T. Nelson (her husband Zeek, the "Parenthood" patriarch), Savannah Paige Rae (Braverman cousin Sydney) and scene-stealer Tyree Brown (Jabbar, another Braverman cousin).
Long-time guest star Michael B. Jordan also lends some rapping skills to the track with his on-again-off-again on-screen girlfriend Sarah Ramos dancing in the background. »

"Parenthood" fans are already familiar with singer-songwriter Landon Pigg. Not only have many of his songs served as background music to tearjerker scenes, but he also appeared as himself this season for a cameo at The Luncheonette, the recording studio owned by Crosby (Dax Shepard) and Adam (Peter Krause).
Now, as Season 3 winds down, Pigg has released this super-awesome video including the "Parenthood" cast, which you can watch below. It's a cover of Lfo's "Girl On TV."
The Pigg vid shows off the skills of real-life girlfriend Mae Whitman and her "Parenthood" co-stars Craig T. Nelson, Tyree Brown, Miles Heizer, Savannah Paige Rae, Bonnie Bedelia, Max Burkholder, Jason Ritter, Shepard, Krause, Erika Christensen, Rosa Salazar, Sarah Ramos, Sam Jaeger, and Lauren Graham.
Michael B. Jordan is even featured on the track, which is just the remedy to last night's completely heartbreaking episode.
We particularly love seeing Heizer break it down, »

Parenthood 3.17 "Remember Me, I'm the One Who Loves You" Review
One of Parenthood's main strengths lies in its ability to take its storylines to the maximum point of tension, only to spend the final few episodes of the season letting the air out and watching the family react. Just when you begin to wonder when, if, or how one of the stories will be "solved", there comes a late-season episode that doesn't add any more layers and instead, begins to unpack all the complexities that have been accumulating since the beginning of the season.
"Remember Me, I'm the One Who Loves You" was the episode that began winding things down for season three after last week's episode amped up the drama to nearly unsustainable levels. It relied on a lot more subtle moments and, at times, silent moments than a typically noisy episode of Parenthood, a move that let »

[Warning: If you have yet to watch Tuesday's Parenthood, avert your eyes now! And we repeat, if you have yet to watch Tuesday's Parenthood, avert your eyes now! Everyone else, read on...]
Tuesday’s episode of Parenthood gave us the moment we’ve been not-so-quietly dreading for months: Upon giving birth to a baby boy, Zoe opted to keep her child instead of giving it to Joel and Julia to adopt.
“My first reaction [upon learning the resolution to the adoption storyline] was that it’s brutal and so heartbreaking,” Erika Christensen (Julia) tells TVLine. “The way that it goes down — it seems impossible and then it just happens.” The actress adds that while Joel and Julia “can’t hold it against Zoe because it is her child,” it’s not something they’ll easily forgive.
Christensen says that, obviously, »
