She's so amazing. I couldn't ask for someone better to play my sister in a movie. And she's such a great actress. Literally, I would be standing off to the side watching her prepare and thinking like: how does she do it? I just don't understand. - about actress Dakota Fanning.
When I got the part in 'War Of The Worlds', I got a call at Canadian Tire from my manager and she was like, 'Are you having fun fishing?' and I was like, 'What? I'm shooting duck' and she started crying. She's like, 'You just got a great movie.' I felt so good and it gave me a confidence almost that I must be doing something semi-right.
My whole goal is just to live my life for story and experience.
[on going to film school] There were good days, there were bad days. It was literally seven months of film school. Listening to the stories these guys had to tell over 30 or 40 years in this business, that's stuff you can't read in a book.
Acting is acting. That's what I love to do. But you know, I'm going to take it moment by moment and whatever happens, happens.
(2006) Starred in the play, "Dark Matters"
