Wah Chang was born on August 2, 1917 in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA as Wah Ming Chang. He is known for his work on Land of the Lost (1974), The Time Machine (1960) and Planet of the Apes (1968). He died on December 22, 2003 in Carmel, California, USA.

Trivia (3)

Created the flip-open communicator and the medical tricorder for Star Trek (1966)
Although never got any screen credit for his work on the show, he created a lot of props and designs in the first season of "Star Trek" (1966). These include the puppet of Balok for "The Corbomite Maneuver", the Romulan starship for "Balance of Terror" and the Gorn's full body make-up for "Arena".
Designed the titular time travel device used in The Time Machine (1960).
