I think I can speak with and for a lot of people when I say how awesome it is that this group is coming back for a sequel. Ever since the first Super Troopers people have been wanting more and watching the original film over and over and over and, well, you get it. As of now all we have to go on is the teaser, but the full trailer should be coming eventually, and it’s bound to show as much hilarity as the first one knowing the guys from Broken Lizard. They’re so wonderfully over the top that laughter

“You Were Never Really Here” was the last movie in competition to premiere Cannes, and when it did it sent shockwaves through the festival. Heralded by many critics as a masterpiece, the dark crime thriller marks the return of Lynne Ramsay, who hasn’t been in theaters since “We Need to Talk About Kevin” in 2011. The hiatus may have been painful for fans, but Ramsay is back in full force, with “You Were Never Really Here” winning Best Screenplay and Best Actor at Cannes.
Joaquin Phoenix plays a tormented law enforcer who saves a young girl from child trafficking. The brief Cannes synopsis reads: “A missing teenage girl. A brutal and tormented enforcer on a rescue mission. Corrupt power and vengeance unleash a storm of violence that may lead to his awakening. »

Darren Aronofsky often gives actresses some amazing supporting roles (see Jennifer Connolly in “Requiem for a Dream,” Marisa Tomei in “The Wrestler,” Mila Kunis in “Black Swan”), and “mother!” is shaping up to be no exception. The marketing thus far has primarily concerned leads Jennifer Lawrence and Javier Bardem, but co-star Michelle Pfeiffer finally gets her due in the first official clip, embedded below, and it’s a juicy one.
Pfeiffer is playing the wife of Ed Harris’ character, one of two uninvited guests who show up and wreak havoc on Jennifer Lawrence’s protagonist. The official trailer suggests that Lawrence’s husband, played by Bardem, is in on whatever disturbing plans Pfeiffer and Harris have in store. The first clip finds Pfeiffer devilishly asking Lawrence about whether or not she wants to have a child. The “Rosemary’s Baby” vibes are palpable.

Everyone’s favorite cops are back (by popular demand) with the long anticipated follow up to the cult comedy classic: Super Troopers 2. ‘Super Troopers 2‘ has unleahed it’s first official red band trailer. Released in 2001, the original ‘Super Troopers‘ quickly became a cult hit on dvd. The guys behind Broken Lizard have pretty much always wanted to make a sequel to the film, but could never find the funding to make it happen. Then, in 2015, it was announced that the comedy troupe had received studio permission to make the movie, but that production funds would have to find production funding themselves. The group then turned to indiegogo, where they successfully met their $2 million funding goal in 26 hours, and raised a total of $4.4 million to make the movie.
The sequel follows our lovable band of heroes as they deal with a “border dispute” that somehow involves a group of Canadian mounties. While the trailer itself serves mainly as an announcement, we do know that Jay Chandrasekhar, Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter, »

Fans of Broken Lizard can now mark their calendars as the comedy troupe’s next big screen adventure, Super Troopers 2, is set to be released April 20, 2018. The guys haven’t been seen together in a film since 2009’s The Slammin’ Salmon, in which the usual crew played waiters and chefs. The Original Super Troopers was released 15 years ago and became a cult classic with the ridiculous antics of some not so law-abiding law enforcement officers.
A minute-long teaser for Super Troopers 2 was released today, and from the looks of it, fans are in store for more of what made the first movie great. We see what looks to be some more shenanigans from the guys, as Rabbit, the rookie from the first film who was endlessly hazed, is tied down to a table and the rest of the guys seem to be dead set on helping him out with some manscaping. »

The opening moments of the first teaser for Super Troopers 2 is a ball-shaving scene. So it appears fans are going to get the same kind of humor that Broken Lizard delivered in the original 16 years ago.
All the boys are back: Mac, Thorny, Rabbit, Foster, and, of course, Farva.
The trailer runs a little more than a minute and doesn't reveal any real plot points other than that the fan-favorite goofy, outrageous Vermont State Troopers are back.
It is also clear from the teaser that the sequel will be rated a hard 'R,' like its predecessor.
Jim Gaffigan appears in the trailer »

It’s been 16 years since Super Troopers underperformed at the box office only to blossom into a bonafide cult classic, and now comedy troupe Broken Lizard are back with Super Troopers 2. The troupe have produced several other films since Super Troopers, including Club Dread and Beer League, but none entered the zeitgeist the way Troopers did.
Of course, a long delayed sequel to a well-loved comedy doesn’t always turn out for the best. Remember Dumb and Dumber To? If you do, I’m sorry. Hopefully Super Troopers 2 will manage to recapture the stoner comedy magic that endeared the first film to so many.
Broken Lizard’s Jay Chandrasekhar, Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter and Erik Stolhanske all return, along with Brian Cox, and new members to the cast include Lynda Carter and Rob Lowe. Super Troopers 2 opens 4/20/2018, because of course it does. You can watch »

If anyone was worried that the upcoming Super Troopers sequel would dull the sense of humor that the Broken Lizard guys brought to the original, this new teaser should put those fears to rest. In a way, it seems like there’s nothing about this quick clip that would’ve seemed out of place in the original movie, from…

The wait is finally over! We have our first look at the sequel to the cult classic Super Troopers! Check out the hilarious teaser below!
I like many of you am a fan of the original Super Troopers. Debuting in February of 2002 to the mass market by the creative minds at Broken Lizard it has gained a following as a widely-loved cult classic that still holds up today. Last week, we shared with you the predictable, yet awesome release date for the sequel. Today, we got a teaser that shows our favorite patrol units hitting the streets one more time.
I’m in, that’s all I can say. Considering 16 years has passed between, hang on a second, 16 years! That can’t be right. Oh, wait it is I’m just old. But the comedy seems to have that same feel that I loved from the original. Returning to the »

Despite the 17 years since the original, the troopers haven't grown out of their sophomoric humor. The teaser opens with the threat of a "balls-shaving" sequence before they're mercifully called into action by their Captain (actor Brian Cox, reprising his role from the 2001 comedy).
The trailer — subtitled “Shave the Date” — includes a bizarre comedy sequence involving the shaving of Erik Stolhanske’s Rabbit character by his fellow goofy Vermont state troopers.
“Seriously, cut the crap, guys — I’m not a rookie any more,” a hand-cuffed Stolhanske begs.
Fox Searchlight has set an April 20, 2018, release date for “Super Troopers 2”
Jay Chandrasekhar is directing the comedy sequel, as he did on the original. Filmmaking team Broken Lizard raised $4.4 million in a 30-day crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo in 2015 that saw more than 50,000 contributors. It was one of the most successful crowdfunding campaigns for a movie along with the »

"Seriously, cut the crap guys!" The boys are back! Fox Searchlight has released an official teaser trailer for the long-awaited sequel Super Troopers 2, hitting theaters next spring some 17 years after the first movie became a huge hit. This ultimate stoner comedy picks up where the first one left off and follows the Super Troopers who are tasked with establishing a Highway Patrol station in a border area between the Us and Canada. Pretty much everyone is back: Jay Chandrasekhar, Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter, Erik Stolhanske, Brian Cox, Lynda Carter, and Marisa Coughlan. The newcomers include Emmanuelle Chriqui, Rob Lowe, Tyler Labine, Will Sasso, and Hayes MacArthur. This actually looks like it's going to be fun, just what the doctor ordered. Seems like they're pushing the comedy forward. Here's the first official teaser trailer for Jay Chandrasekhar's Super Troopers 2, direct from YouTube: The long-awaited sequel to »

The first time the Broken Lizard troupe took to patrolling the highways of Vermont in Super Troopers, the film was premiering at the 2001 Sundance Film Festival. George W. Bush was about to be sworn in as Potus 43, and the FTC had just greenlighted the ill-fated AOL-Time Warner merger. Yeah, it’s been awhile. Now here’s a teaser for Super Troopers 2, again directed by Jay Chandrasekhar and co-written with his kindreds Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter and Erik… »
