Guiding Light: Say Goodbye on a Special Cruise Vacation

CBS' long-running soap opera Guiding Light left the air last September after more than 50 years on television. Many viewers found it hard to say goodbye to the characters and the performers who played them. Now, if you have the money and time, you can say goodbye up close and personal.

A "So Long Springfield" cruise is taking place on Carnival's Glory ship from July 31st until August 5th. The boat is set to sail out of New York City and visit St. John, New Brunswick, and Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Performers scheduled to take part include Kim Zimmer, Robert Newman, Justin Deas, Grant Aleksander, Beth Chamberlin, Ron Raines, Jordan Clarke, Tina Sloan, Roger Bogue, Liz Keifer, Michael O'Leary, Frank Dicopoulos, and Mandy Bruno.

Daytime Emmys 2010 winners list

"As the World Turns" took home some hardware in its penultimate Daytime Emmy ceremony. Michael Park and Maura West took home Outstanding Lead Actor and Actress, which was his first win and her second. "Atwt" also took home Outstanding Supporting Actress for Julie Pinson (pictured).

Los Angeles, California (X17online) - Nominations have been announced for the 37th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards. In the Outstanding Talk Show Category, Ellen DeGeneres, Rachel Ray and Regis & Kelly will be duking it out for the statue. This year, The Young and the Restless has 16 nominations, Sesame Street has 14 and One Life to Live has 13 nods.
