NCIS: Season 12 Ratings

8 October 2014 1:40 PM, PDT | TVSeriesFinale.com | See recent TVSeriesFinale news »

The ratings for NCIS dropped last season but the series remained the most-watched TV show on network television. While there seems to be no chance of NCIS being cancelled, shows do get more expensive the longer they're on the air and this one's been around a long time. Could this be the final season or is a 13th season renewal all-but guaranteed? Stay tuned.

On NCIS, Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and his team of special agents continue to investigate crimes that involve the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. Co-stars are Emily Wickersham, Michael Weatherly, Sean Murray, David McCallum, Pauley Perrette, Rocky Carroll, and Brian Dietzen.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show's likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes »

The Season 5 finale of CBS’ NCIS: Los Angeles — as it was titled — left Sam and Callen in “Deep Trouble,” locked inside a small sub rigged with explosives and headed for a target unknown, and with no way to contact their colleagues. Hetty meanwhile pulled another of her disappearing acts, and Deeks realized that three is most definitely a crowd.

TVLine invited showrunner Shane Brennan to teases the Season 6 premiere — airing Sept. 29, in its new Mondays-at-10/9c time slot – and beyond.

Justice League: War launching a shared DC animated continuity

Warner Bros. latest DC animated movie Justice League: War arrives on shelves today, and much like the New 52-launching Justice League: Origin story arc from which it is based, it seems the direct-to-video feature will launch a shared continuity for the line of DC Universe Animated Original Movies.

"Our next movie's going to be Son of Batman, and that Batman will be the same Batman that you see in Justice League: War. Basically, we'll have two concurrent series of Justice League movies and Batman movies, and they'll be in continuity with each other. So it's kind of world-building.

Tucker went on to review that the plan going forward is to release two "in-continuity" movies a year and one stand-alone feature (this year's »
