David E. Kelley's Goliath TV show premieres on Amazon, Friday, October 14, 2016. One of the few to have created series airing on all four major commercial U.S. broadcast networks -- the prolific TV show writer and producer may never return to that medium. A legal drama, Goliath (formerly Trial) stars Billy Bob Thornton, William Hurt, Olivia Thirlby, Maria Bello, Molly Parker, Dwight Yoakam, Harold Perrineau, and Ever Carradine.During the Goliath presentation at the TCA summer press tour, when asked if he would ever return to broadcast television, Kelley said, " don't think so," according to The Hollywood Reporter. His upcoming comedy series, Little Big Lies, starring Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, and Alexander Skarsgård is bound for HBO.Read More… »

Goliath: Dwight Yoakam & Harold Perrineau Join David E. Kelley Amazon Series

Dwight Yoakam and Harold Perrineau have joined the cast of the Goliath TV show at Amazon. The original drama series comes from David E. Kelley and was previously known as Trial. Yoakam played Lyle Chumley on Under the Dome, which was cancelled last summer after three seasons on CBS. Fans of ABC's Lost probably still hear echoes of Perrineau, as Michael Dawson, yelling, "Waaaaaaalllt!"

Billy Bob Thornton, William Hurt, Olivia Thirlby, Maria Bello, Molly Parker, and Ever Carradine were previously cast. Goliath is written by Ally McBeal's David E. Kelley and The Practice's Jonathan Shapiro. Kelley, Shapiro, and Ross Fineman are executive prodcuing, with Parenthood's Larry Trilling. Madam Secretary's David Semel is directing.

Ever Carradine has joined David E. Kelley’s upcoming Amazon series “Trial” in a recurring role, TheWrap has learned exclusively. The series stars Billy Bob Thornton as Billy McBride, a washed-up lawyer whose professional life is turned upside down when a young lawyer who has just been fired from his old firm brings him a wrongful death case that pits him against the head of his former firm. Guns for Hire is one of those films where you are absolutely sure what is going on, right up until the big reveal at the end, where you suddenly realise you did not have a clue at all what was going on. The twist within a twist within a twist is done so well, I actually did not have a clue that it was coming and was too busy enjoying Guns for Hire for what it was. »
