Celebrity Juice: Jessie J ruins expensive dress thanks to tent phobia

30 October 2014 8:54 AM, PDT | Digital Spy | See recent Digital Spy - TV news news »

Jessie J ruined her dress during the filming of Celebrity Juice - because she is scared of tents.

During the Halloween special of the show - which will air tonight - host Keith Lemon asked the 'Domino' singer to step into a tent to win a point for her team.

Despite her tisantaphobia (yes, we googled that), Jessie did step under the canvas - but was horrified when a goblin jumped out at her, and in a scramble to get out she ripped her expensive gown.

The damage was so great that Jessie had to change outfits halfway through the filming.

To celebrate Halloween, all of the stars on Celebrity Juice dressed up this week - with Keith Lemon as a zombie Michael Jackson, Fearne Cotton as a zombie Karl Lagerfeld and Gino D'Acampo as a zombie captain. They were joined by guest Richard Hammond as a zombie pirate.

Ann Widdecombe was worst Hignfy guest host, says Paul Merton

4 October 2014 5:21 PM, PDT | Digital Spy | See recent Digital Spy - TV news news »

Paul Merton has said that former Conservative MP Ann Widdecombe and ex-Labour Party leader Lord Neil Kinnock were his least favourite Have I Got News for You guest hosts.

Merton has been a contributor to the BBC panel show since 1990, along with satirist Ian Hislop.

The comedian was speaking at the Cheltenham Literature Festival on Friday (October 3), when he named Widdecombe and Lord Kinnock as the "two worst hosts" since the show adopted a guest presenter format.

"[Lord Kinnock] was very mistrustful of every word he saw, he potentially thought it was a trip up," Merton said, according to The Radio Times.

Merton also spoke about a notorious November 2007 episode, which saw guest host Widdecombe end up in an on-air spat with comedian Jimmy Carr.

"The first time she was on, it wasn't too bad... and everyone benefits from good editing," he explained. "But I don't think she realised how much help she was getting. »

Jon Richardson: I didnt have any sex, I didnt do any drugs

12 September 2014 10:00 PM, PDT | The Guardian - TV News | See recent The Guardian - TV News news »

The 8 Out Of 10 Cats star used to live like a hermit in Swindon. Now, having tackled his Ocd, he is facing down his remaining anxieties in Jon Richardon Grows Up, a new TV road trip

Its June 2012. Jimmy Carr has just been exposed as a tax avoider. His actions have resulted in a chorus of condemnation led by the prime minister, who has described his actions as quite frankly, morally wrong. When Carr appears at the recording of that weeks 8 Out Of 10 Cats, the show he has hosted since 2005, he can expect some jokes at his expense, but what follows is surprisingly merciless and hard-hitting from a show more renowned for poking fun at reality TV stars.

The most righteous blows come from team captain Jon Richardson, who says that Carr has lost the moral high ground to News International and David Cameron and is in part responsible for nurses and doctors losing their jobs. »
