Darleen Carr was born on December 12, 1950 in Chicago, Illinois, USA as Darleen Farnon. She is an actress, known for The Jungle Book (1967), The Beguiled (1971) and Eight Days a Week (1997). She has been married to Jameson Parker since June 18, 1992. She was previously married to Jason Laskay.

She dubbed the childrens singing voices in The Sound of Music (1965)
In 1982, her two-year-old son had a blood transfusion during an operation. The blood was tainted with HIV and he died six months later. However, Cedars-Sinai doctors initially said he died from a genetic immune deficiency. Years later the hospital lost a lawsuit and had to send out letters to parents of children (Darleen included) admitting they may have died of AIDS.
Younger sister of Charmian Carr and Shannon Farnon.
Daughter of actress Rita Oehmen and composer Brian Farnon.
Born on the same day as Duane Chase who co-starred with Darleen's sister Charmian Carr in The Sound of Music (1965).
