Showrunner Shift at 'Undercover Boss'

A new boss is taking over  CBS's "Undercover Boss" following the exit of original showrunner Shauna Minoprio.

Chris Carlson, who has been VP of alternative programming at the Eye since March 2008, is leaving his role as a buyer and will now executive produce "Boss" for producer Studio Lambert. Minoprio is leaving "Boss" due to personal reasons, a person familiar with the matter said.

Carlson Jumping from Programmer to a Program

CBS programming executive Chris Carlson is leaving the network to help produce breakout reality hit “Undercover Boss.” Carlson has helped develop the show at CBS and will take the title of executive producer on the series, which is produced by Studio Lambert. Carlson will have day-to-day responsibility for season two, replacing Shauna Minoprio.
