Geoff Callan was raised in San Francisco. Geoff graduated from St. Mary's College, located in Moraga, California. He was also awarded a NCAA division I golf Scholarship and served as team captain.

Geoff was classically trained at the prestigious American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. It was there where he landed a lead role in Neil Simon's "The Odd Couple", playing the role of Felix Unger at the Magic Theater of the Bay Area, and the lead in the PBS television special Pine Summit Base. To follow were lead roles in three original plays: "The Barlow Story", "The Bird Returns", and "The Detectives' Club".

Shortly thereafter, Geoff moved to Southern California to study at the distinguished Beverly Hills Playhouse. He soon landed guest roles on The Bold and the Beautiful (1987), General Hospital (1963), Sightings (1991), the NBC Television pilot Dinner Party and NBC's hit sitcom Frasier (1993).

He has also appeared in numerous national and regional commercials which include: Bud Light, Titleist Golf Balls, Honda, Fox Sports, Chili's Restaurant, Diet Pepsi, The Ritz Carlton, Rugby Magazine, Big Bear Super Market, Southern Bell, Dodge, and PUR Water.

Geoff has continued his on-screen success with a lead role in the independent film Between Somewhere and Salinas (1996), as well as supporting roles in New Line Cinema's Set It Off (1996) directed by F. Gary Gray and staring Jada Pinkett Smith and Blair Underwood; Raising Cain (1992) directed by Brian De Palma; Showgirls (1995) directed by Paul Verhoeven; Land of Milk & Honey (1996) directed by Joe Destein; Slammed (2004) directed by Brian Thomas Jones; Happily Even After (2004) directed by 'Un SU Lee' ; and Twisted directed by Philip Kaufman.

Most recently, Geoff has a co-starring role in The Pursuit of Happyness, starring Will Smith and directed by Gabriele Muccino; and in Zodiac, Directed by David Fincher.

Former brother-in-law of Kimberly Guilfoyle.
Brother-in-law of Actress Jennifer Siebel Newsom.
A 1 handicap Golfer and was the captain of his College NCAA Division I Golf Team. He has played in numerous celebrity golf tournaments.
When he first moved to LA he was in acting class with Brian Van Holt, Danny Comden, and Matt Kennedy (IV), Robert Callan, and Anna Getty,.
Geoff is the older cousin of Jacqueline Toboni, currently (2014-) a guest star on Grimm.
He was selected with partner Mike Shaw (VIII) to produce and direct three Official United States Olympic Bid Films designed to enhance San Francisco's bid for the 2012 Olympics. Callan and Mike Shaw were hand selected by the Bay Area Sports Organizing Committee (BASOC).
In 2014, Geoff played a season as a QB with the Marin County Pride, a Semi-Pro Football team. At 46, he was the oldest player to make the team.
Produced and directed three (3) animated commercials that aired during Super Bowl XLIII.
In 2013, he was selected, along with 4 other filmmakers, to compete in the Napa Valley Film Festival's Sony 4k Film Challenge. He was selected by SONY and the NVFF to direct a 5-minute short film. Based on a randomly assigned topic and using the latest SONY equipment, Hey Mickey was the film delivered by "Team Callan". Produced in less than 50 hours it stars Mickey the Baboon (Tom Cruise's sidekick "Hey Man" in the film Rock of Ages).
Geoff is the brother-in-law of Lt. Gov. of California Gavin Newsom.
Prior to founding Emergency Clock Productions, Geoff served as the Executive Producer for One World Network's (co-founded by Melanie Griffith) "new media" division. He was responsible for all film, video and Internet production.
In 2006 Geoff recognized and honored by 7x7 Magazine as an "Innovative Leader in the Creative Industry" (Category: Independent Filmmaking).
