Dick Button was born on July 18, 1929 in Englewood, New Jersey, USA as Richard Totten Button. He is an actor, known for Skates of Gold III (1995), The Bad News Bears Go to Japan (1978) and U.S. Olympic Champions (1952). He was previously married to Slavka Kahout.

Won Gold Medals in figure skating at the Olympics in 1948 and 1952.
Inducted into the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame, 1983 (charter member).
The only American man to win two consecutive gold medals in Olympic men's figure skating. Also the first skater to land triple jumps. Inventor of the camel spin.
He was nominated for the 2011 New Jersey Hall of Fame for his services and contributions to Sports.
