George H.W. Bush’s 93rd birthday was a celebration at sea.
The former president, who turned 93 on Sunday, rang in the occasion by setting sail with his loved ones off their Walker’s Point compound in Kennebunkport, Maine, where he and wife Barbara Bush spend their summers.
Bush’s spokesman Jim McGrath tells People it was the 41st president’s “first outing on his boat this summer — one very happy former commander in chief!”

Former President George H.W. Bush sent his first lady a sweet birthday wish on Twitter as she rang in her 92nd birthday.
“Happiest of birthdays to Barbara Pierce of Rye, NY,” the 92-year-old former president wrote on Thursday. “I’m still the luckiest guy in the world.”
A family spokeswoman tells People that former First Lady Barbara Bush is celebrating the occasion by spending a “quiet day” at the family’s summer home, Walker’s Point, in Kennebunkport, Maine.

The NBC program is celebrating "Love Your Body Week" and on Tuesday, Hoda Kotb, Savannah Guthrie and Jenna Bush Hager shared heartfelt letters they wrote to their daughters about self-acceptance, loving their bodies and themselves.
"My Dearest Vale," Guthrie began. "I hope that as you grow up I can teach you to love and embrace the miraculous, physical vessel that is carrying your magnificent heart and soul."

Former President George W. Bush‘s wife has served as the subject of one of his famous paintings – a piece that’s never been seen for a reason: “It’s in the closet.”
The former president and his wife, Laura Bush, tell People in this week’s issue that his portrait of her wasn’t much of a hit. “After I changed it four different times – I don’t like this expression or that expression – I finally said I’m through,” the 70-year-old says.

Former President George H.W. Bush has been released from a Houston hospital after fending off a bout of pneumonia, a family spokesman announced Monday.
Bush "was discharged today from Houston Methodist Hospital after being treated for pneumonia," the statement said.
"He is thankful for the many prayers and kind messages he received during his stay, as well as the world-class care that both his doctors and nurses provided."

The 92-year-old Bush was hospitalized on January 14th. He is the oldest living former president, and the only former president to miss the inauguration of President Donald Trump earlier this month.
Before being hospitalized, Bush said his health would prevent him from attending the inauguration.

Chelsea Clinton is defending a fellow child of a president.
The 36-year-old daughter of Bill and Hillary Clinton stood up for President Donald Trump's 10-year-old son, Barron Trump, on Sunday, but also made it clear that she wasn't endorsing any of Trump's policies "that hurt kids."
