Not even the rain could spoil the gorgeous fashions on the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood prior to the 87th Academy Awards.
Gold may have been the winning color of the evening, but white was the color on the carpet. From Faith Hill and Marion Cotillard to Julianne Moore and Lupita Nyong’o, the actresses were in jaw-dropping works of art.
60’s mod was the theme of the Dior Couture gown worn by Marion Cotillard. Proving why the French invented couture, it was hands down our best dressed of the night. The hair, the earrings – it was exquisite.
Lupita Nyong’o was ravishing with the elaborate pearl beading.
There were 6,000 pearls on her Calvin Klein dress.
Faith Hill was stunning in white in J. Mendel. The whole thing was beautiful.
Julianne Moore was in Custom Chanel. »

The 'How I Met Your Mother' star, who is set to host the Oscars later this month, admits he wishes he had gotten an education despite his success in Hollywood. Meanwhile, the 41-year-old actor - who has four-year-old twins Harper and Gideon with his husband, David Burtka - has revealed his relationship is his number one priority in life, not his career. He told Vanity Fair magazine: ''After more than 10 years, he still surprises me with his depth and makes me laugh. When he is happy my entire world is alive. For value's sake you can get a lot of space and retain the history and appreciation of it," Harris said. "We loved this place. We loved the fact that it had solid bones." Formerly a speakeasy for Irish millworkers, the five-story townhouse features four bedrooms, two terraces and a back garden. Even better? American Horror Story Freak Show concludes with one of the season's better episodes, and - what else? - a grisly murder spree...
This review contains spoilers.
4.13 Curtain Call
The one thing you can say about this season of American Horror Story as a whole is that it doesn't lack teeth. There have been a lot of crazy things that happened this season with plenty of graphic violence, torture, serial killers, weird sex stuff... you know, the standard American Horror Story staples, just turned up to 11 with the addition of killer clowns, human oddities, and cover songs. With the end of this season of Ahs comes the end of a whole lot of characters we've spent time with this season in shockingly graphic, straightforward manner courtesy of one Dandy Mott.
At first, it looks like the more things change, the more they stay the same. Dandy has taken over, and he's got deep pockets. »
"Asylum" > "Murder House" > "Coven" > "Freak Show" ... right?Last night, "American Horror Story" wrapped up its latest outing in another blood bath of a finale that left almost everyone in the cast six feet under. At this point, that's to be expected from Ryan Murphy's miniseries ... but why did this final episode seem like the most unsatisfying yet?Let's recap what happened ...Dandy Mott (Finn Wittrock) took over the titular attraction after Elsa Mars (Jessica Lange) sold it and moved to Hollywood, but none of the freaks loved their new boss. After our sexy little psycho berated them for not selling any tickets for his debut show -- where he planned to sing Cole Porter standards -- the freaks turned on him ... and quit!He didn't take that news too well and went on a truly chilling killing spree, offing everyone from Ima Wiggles to Amazon Eve with his golden gun. »

Step right up! Step right up! Here it is folks, the moment you've all been waiting for - the big finale to the greatest (or, at the very least, goriest) show on earth! That's right, "American Horror Story: Freak Show," the somewhat uneven fourth season of Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk's ingenious horror anthology, came to a close last night with an episode entitled "Curtain Call." It was a profoundly disturbing hour-and-17-minutes (hey, Ryan Murphy doesn't play by anyone's rules) but, in the series' constant need to shock and surprise, ended with a bittersweet tone that had us holding back tears. Yes, seriously. Shall we begin?
Dandy's Cabinet of Curiosities
After last week's episode ended with Elsa selling the freak show to that dastardly Dandy, it was anybody's guess as to how that would play out. And it did play out somewhat surprisingly - after Dandy complained about not selling enough tickets, »

Barkers rev up your engines. The Freak Show is over, and the incessant quote canonizing can begin. As another season of American Horror Story closed on Wednesday, the freak fetishist became the freak. (If that meant we got to see Finn Wittrock in his skivvies, then so be it.) But Dandy Mott's downfall was just the beginning of the curiosities delivered by Elsa Mars and her band of outsiders. Picking up short after Dandy (Wittrock) began his tyrannical rule of the side show, the anthology show's season finale was a veritable a parade of zingers and bon mots worthy of creator Ryan Murphy, »

As “Curtain Call” brought American Horror Story: Freak Show to a close, Dandy at last made his stage “debut,” and Elsa arrived in the one place in the world that might actually be weirder than her own Cabinet of Curiosities: Hollywood.
Here’s how it all fell apart and came together.
The Beginning Of The End | As the finale kicked off, Dandy was pitching a fit over the fact that, just like Penny predicted, audiences weren’t lining up to see a “rich Nancy sing show tunes.” And, in no time, he’d become so intolerable that he’d been decked by Amazon Eve, »
