Rusty Burrell was born on November 17, 1925 in Metropolis, Illinois, USA. He was an actor, known for Divorce Court (1957), Animal Court (1998) and The People's Court (1981). He was married to Clara Mae Odom. He died on April 15, 2002 in Rosemead, California, USA.
Was the bailiff for a number of high-profile trials, including those of
Charles Manson, Patty Hearst and "The Onion Field" murder trial.
Lied about his age and enlisted in the Navy at the start of World War
II. After his discharge, he played baseball for a couple of years as a
pitcher and outfielder in the St. Louis Browns' farm system.

Appeared in numerous TV commercials and was "Colonel Morton" on
packages of Morton's Frozen Foods.
