Bobby Burns was born on September 1, 1878 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA as Robert Paul Burns. He was an actor and director, known for Speed Kings (1915), Capturing Stella (1915) and Wait a Minute (1916). He died on January 16, 1966 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

A comedy actor who played leads in early silent comedies, supporting roles, often uncredited, in sound films, both features and shorts; not to be confused with Bob Burns or Bob Burns.
Had served a lengthy apprenticeship on the stage before starting in films with Selig. In 1919, appeared with Jobyna Ralston in a series of "Cuckoo Comedies" made by Vim in Jacksonville, Florida.
