As Movieline spends so much time telling you what we made of 2009, why not occasionally cede the microphone to others in Hollywood? Actor Billy Burke is the latest to try his hand at a Fave Five -- you may know him from his role as Kristen Stewart's father in the Twilight Saga (though after seeing Feast of Love, I'll always imagine him naked and slapping around Radha Mitchell), and in addition to the upcoming installment Eclipse, he's got the lead in 2010 indies Highland Park and Luster. Still, we're getting ahead of ourselves by looking forward; before 2010 rolls around, what did Billy think were the pop culture highlights of 2009? »

As two of the "human" characters in the Twilight saga (appearing in all three: Twilight, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse), Anna Kendrick (whose work in Up In The Air has practically made hers a household name) and Billy Burke (whose film Shadow Play is soon forthcoming) are always interesting to hear from. The two recently appeared on GMTV in these videos and are lovely as always as they talk about their position in the Twilight saga phenomenon. As you know, Kendrick portrays "Jessica Stanley" in the Twilight series, and Burke portrays "Charlie Swan" (father to Kristen Stewart's "Bella Swan") »
Both Anna Kendrick and Billy Burke took a little time out of their holidays to stop by the GMTV studios to speak a little bit about their hectic lives right now. When Anna dropped by she spoke about how it was starring opposite George Clooney in Up In The Air just how big Twilight is and how she feels playing a human character among other things. He might portray the lovable champ Charlie Swan in The Twilight Saga: New Moon and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, but his film Shadow Play looks to be featuring Billy Burke in a whole new light. The trailer for the film was only recently released (see below), and it looks great! Though, the director, Nick Simon, says it may be a bit deceiving as to what the film is really about. The trailer is a little deceiving, he says, since it makes the movie look more like an action-horror movie. It's actually more paced, he says, deliberately kind of slow. "It's something the producers put together to b »

Throughout the filming process for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, David Slade made use of a very powerful social network – Twitter – to keep fans and followers updated on production. Not only did he tweet about the various stages, but he also sent along pictures of the cast and crew (including a very thorough - albeit self-proclaimed “occasional” - series specifically devoted to the set crew). Unlike the filming process for The Twilight Saga: New Moon, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse was a bit of a pictorial mystery – aside from the very rare or perfunctory on-set paparazzi photograph – and David Sl ... The Twilight cast is positively gigantic at this point. With The Twilight Saga: New Moon and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse complete, the list of cast members has grown significantly. MTV has an interesting look at how they think Eclipse could gain an even larger audience following than either Twilight or New Moon if they followed five suggestions. Read more belowAmp up the Bella and Edward romanceTwilight established the potent romance between Bella and Edward but New Moon sacrificed much of the chemistry for the sake of Bellas growing bond with Jacob. Granted the reason why Edward was mostly absent during New Moon was because he broke up with Bella and was moping around in an apartment for months on end but Chris Weitz forgot to reestablish why exactly Bella and Edward were so in love. With Eclipse we hope David Slade explores their connection especially with so many fans jumping ship to Team Jacob after seeing Taylor Lautners abs.Expand the secondary charactersEven though Kristen Stewart Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner are the biggest draws for most fans secondary »
While "New Moon" has certainly accrued fan approval and box office power since its release on November 20, critics haven't had the same appreciation for the vampire romance. "Eclipse," the next in the series, wrapped in October and is slated for a June 30, 2010 release, we have a few suggestions to help make it a film everyone -- not just Twilighters -- will enjoy.
