The Los Angeles shoot for an upcoming new zombie flick just wrapped, and while we wait for more, we got our hands on all the current info and a batch of stills. So read on to take your first trip into a State of Desolation!

Actress Sadie Katz will follow up her frightening turn in next month's Wrong Turn 6: Last Resort with zombie apocalypse flick State of Desolation.

Written and directed by Jim Towns (House of Bad), the film also stars Jamie Bernadette (Axeman, Mile Marker 7), Craig Stark (Django Unchained), Dominique Swain (Lolita, Face/Off), Kaiwi Lyman (Reel Evil), Daniel Buran ("True Blood"), Maria Olsen (Paranormal Activity 3), and Victoria De Mare (Werewolf in a Women's Prison).

The character drama tells of a retired mercenary with a dark past (Stark), who rescues a spoiled young suburbanite (Bernadette) and must train her to survive in this savage new world. »
