All About Meghan McCain’s Incredible Wedding Menu: Wild Game, an Antler-Covered Cake and a Pie Bar for Dad
The food at Meghan McCain’s wedding was pretty wild, literally.

For her Nov. 21 nuptials to conservative pundit Ben Domenech at the McCain family ranch in Cornville, Arizona, the co-host of The View chose a spread made up of wild game to cater to her father Sen. John McCain‘s tastes.

“The menu was something primarily that Meghan wanted to reflect not only where we are at up here, but really geared it a great deal to her dad so he would enjoy the menu,” Meghan’s mom Cindy McCain tells People in this week’s issue, on newsstands Friday.

Why Meghan McCain Moved Up Her Wedding Amid Dad John's Cancer Battle: 'You're Living Scan to Scan'
When it came to planning her Nov. 21 wedding to Ben Domenech, Meghan McCain was not in the mood to stress.

“I was not really caught up in the details,” she tells People exclusively in this week’s issue, on stands Friday. “I just wanted everybody to have a good time.”

But when her father, Sen. John McCain, tore his Achilles tendon in the days leading up to the ceremony, the bride had to figure out a new plan for getting down the aisle. Enter her brother, Army guardsman Jimmy, 29.

“He stepped in to walk me down the actual aisle and

Meghan McCain Says She Got 'Drunk on Whiskey' at Her Wedding — and Dad John McCain Cried
Meghan McCain is back at work.

On Monday, the daughter of Sen. John McCain resumed her co-hosting duties on ABC’s The View, less than a week after she tied the knot with conservative pundit Ben Domenech.

We got married at our ranch in Sedona and it was real country,” she said on the show. “I wanted a western country wedding — my aisle was cowhide. I want to give a big special shout-out to Shooter Jennings for singing. … And I pulled Clay Aiken out of retirement to sing and got my dad to cry.”

“I got very drunk on whiskey,

'Greatest Event in TV History': Adam Scott remakes 'Too Close for Comfort' intro

It's happened once again, as the "Greatest Event in TV History" has been unleashed. This time around, Adam Scott and friends recreated the intro to the early 1980s sitcom "Too Close for Comfort," which is what many expected after the teaser image that was released.

Before the show could get underway, they had to introduce the cast and go behind-the-scenes to show how it all was made, of course. Things started off with Jeff Probst essentially apologizing for the last two installments not truly being TV's greatest moment. Instead, he renamed the night "An Event in TV History," which definitely seems more appropriate.

Joining Scott, who played Jim J. Bullock's role in the intro, was Catherine O'Hara (Nancy Dussault), Jon Glaser (Ted Knight), Chelsea Peretti (Deborah Van Valkenburgh) and Kathryn Hahn (Lydia Cornell).

They weren't the only ones getting in on the fun though, as Jason Mantzoukas was the director,

Behind the scenes at 'Hip-Hop Squares' with Nick Cannon and Biz Markie
Tonight, MTV2 will pull back the curtain on Hip-Hop Squares, the new rap-centric reboot of the classic game show Hollywood Squares. For those who never had the pleasure of watching the likes of Shadoe Stevens or Jim J. Bullock riff in syndication, the show goes a little something like this: The host (in this case New York radio DJ Peter Rosenberg) asks a question of one of nine celebrities, who are positioned on a massive upright Tic-tac-toe board, and each contestant chooses whether or not to agree with the celeb’s response. If they’re correct, they “win” the square.

"A-List: New York" Episode 107 Recap: The Wheels of Fortuna

Logo (our parent company) usually sends me screeners of The A-List: New York, but this week I guess things were running late because no screener for episode 107 – which means I haven't actually seen the ep. Bummer.

Or is it? Someone could probably make up a plotline for this week's installment that would be more logically coherent than anything that actually aired.

So pardon the liberties, but here's my totally fictional take. And if you really have to know what happened on the actual show may I suggest John Polly's trenchant Easy A-List Video Recap over on NewNowNext.com.

When last we saw the A-Listers, a heartbroken Rodiney had packed his bags and left for Miami.

Reichen, despondent over the end of yet another relationship, cries dramatically: "I want to be alone," and takes to his boudoir with nothing for company but his Blackberry. To catch up on his sexting.

Contest: Win a DVD of The Square

Former stuntman-turned-filmmaker Nash Edgerton makes his feature debut with his brother Joel (who co-wrote and stars) in the Australian thriller The Square:

A stylish, twist-filled film noir, The Square centers on an adulterous couple whose scheming leads to arson, blackmail and murder. Escaping the monotony of a loveless marriage, Raymond Yale becomes entangled in an affair with the beautiful and troubled Carla. Ray's moral limits are tested when Carla presents him with the proceeds of her controlling husband's latest crime. This is their chance: Take the money and run... If only it were that simple. The seed is planted and Ray, fearing he will lose his love, engineers the plan. Hiring the professional arsonist Billy becomes a fatal error, and the plan goes horribly wrong. 'NCIS' star Michael Weatherly takes the EW Pop Culture Personality Test

'NCIS' star Michael Weatherly takes the EW Pop Culture Personality Test
Earlier this month, we sat down with NCISMichael Weatherly to chat about his contract negotiations (he was confident he’ll return for season 8, though no deal has yet been announced) and the show’s season 7 finale (May 25). Pressing him for spoilers over a martini, we soon realized, was futile. So, we administered an EW Pop Culture Personality Test, which the actor who plays film buff Tony Dinozzo more than aced. One note: Weatherly got an assist from his doctor wife, Bojana Jankovic, who joined us for our chat and learned a few things she hadn’t known about her husband.

Ask the Flying Monkey! (March 17, 2010)

Have a question about gay male entertainment? Contact me here (and be sure and include your city and state and/or country!)

Q: Oh wingéd primate, can you answer my query? I have often heard about celebrities that "everybody" knows are gay, but are not out to the public. Is "everybody" ever right, or is it all rumor? How does "everybody" even know? In respect to your policy, any example you give can be of celebrities who are now officially out. — Kaci, Kentucky

A: Is “everybody” right when they say someone is gay, or are they just repeating rumors? It kinda depends.

To be fair, there are plenty of closeted celebrities who are quite open in their private lives — on movie sets and at semi-private Hollywood parties. (Many of these celebrities used to be completely open even in Hollywood restaurants, West Hollywood streets, but that's changed in the era of Perez.

The Canadian Game Show Hall of Lame

  • Pajiba
As a kid growing up in Toronto, I was struck by the radically different approaches of Canadians and Americans to TV game shows. While a housewife was winning a catamaran, car, or European holiday on Buffalo's channel 2, her equivalent north of the border was elated to take home an electric mop and 30 dollars cash on the CBC. With hilariously low production values, tacky sets, suspiciously loopy hosts and cheap, quirky prizes, Canadian game shows made staying home sick from school an inadvertent lesson in absurd comedy.

Canadian Game Show Hall of Lame:

The Mad Dash

What's not to love about players in ill-fitting polyester racing around a lit-up life-sized board game that could've been made by Dawn Weiner's Special People's Club? Hosted by the Franco-Vegas and notably distracted Pierre Lalonde (he often forgot the score, and on one episode had to be told by a team he'd incorrectly declared

"The Nate Berkus Show" Is a Go as Gay Men Finally Break the Daytime Talk Barrier in the U.S.

American is about to fall in love with this gay.

With Martha Stewart on her way to The Hallmark Channel and Oprah eyeing retirement or her own Oprah Winfrey Network (Own) in two years, daytime TV on the broadcast channels was starting to look a little bleak. But last week a new talk show deal was announced that should spruce up the airwaves, especially for us 'mos.

Interior designer Nate Berkus, a frequent contributor on The Oprah Winfrey Show, has sold his own show to the top ten markets on NBC. With major markets locked down in a sweet cash-plus-advertising deal, Berkus is free to move into syndication sales with smaller markets across the country looking to fill airtime.

But the deal is more significant that it seems as this marks the first time an out gay man is hosting a talk show on broadcast television. Lesbians have previously crossed

Ultimate Hotties: EW's staff picks

We've spent the better (hotter?) portion of the summer reviving our fascination with the concept of the Ultimate Hotties of the Year -- in subcategories like Comedy, Action/Thriller, Crime-Fighting, Geek, and Vampires (apparently they're popular). In 2007, readers voted Angelina Jolie and Wentworth Miller as prom king and queen; this year, Robert Pattinson led your Top 25. And since favoritism can be limiting, here are the 25 hotties you can't believe we missed. Now that '09's long, strange trip is over, some EW staffers decided -- in the spirit of "why the heck not?" -- to create our own lists of Things That Are Hot. Slezak and Mandi followed the rules and chose broadly but from within the parameters of the past year, while Dalton and Josh went the esoteric route of just naming random people and/or characters they've at one point found intriguing. Hey, whatever. They go around the
