You Have to See What Boba Fett Looks Like Without His Mask

17 November 2014 2:25 PM, PST | | See recent news »

Who knew that the galaxy’s most feared bounty hunter was really just Bob from accounting? This behind-the-scenes photo shows an unmasked Boba Fett lounging between takes with some of the exotic ladies in Jabba the Hutt’s palace. It should be noted that this is Don Bies – who only donned the iconic mask for a few scenes in the 1997 special edition release. The rest of the scenes featuring Fett have Jeremy Bulloch under the costume. Still, this is pretty great – and you can kill an entire afternoon writing wacky pickup-line captions for this photo. When you’re done chuckling, you can then spend an hour watching this excellent documentary From Star Wars to Return of the Jedi, which chronicles Lucas’ efforts to make the original trilogy. The...

10 July 2014 8:36 AM, PDT | Digital Spy | See recent Digital Spy - Movie News news »

The actor who played Boba Fett in the original Star Wars movies has spoken in depth about the character.

Jeremy Bulloch, who starred as the popular bounty hunter in The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, has taken part in a Reddit Ama with fans about his character.

Talking about his inspiration for playing Boba, he said: "I always remembered that Clint Eastwood, in A Fistful of Dollars, he and Boba Fett had the same sort of cape.

"He stands up and he's looking at someone and takes a draw of a cigarette, all done in slow motion, and that's how I felt Boba Fett should be: all done in slow motion. He has time, he's never rushing around. His movement it's very literal and that's what he does. He does his job very well and then moves on."

20 May 2014 9:00 AM, PDT | GeekTyrant | See recent GeekTyrant news »

Walt Disney World’s Star Wars Weekends 2014 has officially begun at Disney’s Hollywood Studios today. I've never been able to attend one of these weekends, but it looks like it would be a ridiculous amount of fun.

For those of you like me who won't be able to attend the event any time soon, we have a video of the Star Wars parade for you to watch. It comes to us from Attraction Magazine, who was there for the opening day festivities.

The parade includes special Star Wars guest celebrities such as Ahmed Best (Jar Jar Binks) Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca), Vanessa Marshall (Hera Syndulla — Star Wars Rebels), James Arnold Taylor (Obi-Wan Kenobi — Clone Wars) and a bunch of Star Wars costumed characters. They even included three new characters from the upcoming Star Wars Rebels animated series! Those characters were Chopper, Sabine Wren and Ezra Bridger.

I'll be honest, I'm not a big parade guy. »

"Star Wars Ep VII" Working Title Revealed?

6 May 2014 8:17 AM, PDT | Dark Horizons | See recent Dark Horizons news »

"Star Wars" film titles seem to follow a pattern. In the previous two trilogies, the first chapter was a three word title (The Phantom Menace, A New Hope) that hints at an overall theme.

Today, AICN has revealed the rumored official 'working title' for J.J. Abrams' "Star Wars: Episode VII". That title? "The Ancient Fear".

The title is said to be in reference to Max von Sydow's character, a villain, although it's not known if his character is a Sith.

The source itself was the same one who revealed that filming would take place in Abu Dhabi. AICN contacted Abrams and haven't received either a confirmation or denial.

In other 'Episode VII' talk, actor John Morton tells Movie Cricket that the upcoming "Star Wars" animated series "Star Wars: Rebels" will have more of a connection than you might expect to the new trilogy.

Is Lawrence Kasdan Writing The First Star Wars Spin-Off Movie?

5 January 2014 3:43 AM, PST | The Hollywood News | See recent The Hollywood News news »

When Disney bought Lucasfilm from George Lucas just over a year ago, it was announced that as well as the studio making an official Star Wars sequel every two years, they would also release a spin-off movie featuring various characters from the saga in the years in between.

Things have gone a little quiet on the subject after movies revolving around Han Solo and Yoda were heavily rumoured last year. Now it seems that filmmaker Jon Schnepp has spilled the beans that none other than Lawrence Kasdan in writing the screenplay for a Boba-Fett movie! Schnepp, who most recently directed the ‘W’ segment in horror ensemble The Abcs Of Death, let the news slip during an interview on Us channel AMC.

“One of [the spin-offs] is Boba Fett. It is. I know. I know for a fact. I will never reveal my source, but it is the one written by Lawrence Kasdan. »

"Star Wars: Episode VII" Spin-Off ?

3 January 2014 5:14 PM, PST | SneakPeek | See recent SneakPeek news »

According to several reports, a spin-off movie from Disney's upocoming "Star Wars" feature, will focus on one of the most popular characters in the Lucasfilm universe.

'Boba Fett', a 'Mandolorian' bounty hunter would be the focus of the spin-off, directed by Jon Schnepp and scripted by Lawrence Kasdan, who co-created the character.

As a bounty hunter hired by 'Darth Vader', in "Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back" and "Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi", the film "Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones" established his origin as a 'clone' of bounty hunter 'Jango Fett', then raised as his son.

The character is primarily played by actor Jeremy Bulloch in "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of the Jedi", cast foir the role because the costume happened to fit "as if a Savile Row tailor had come out and made it..."
