First Photos from It’s Kind of a Funny Story

MTV have been the first to post some new images from Zack Galifianakis’ new movie, It’s Kind of a Funny story which also stars Emma Roberts, Lauren Graham, Adrian Martinez, Zoë Kravitz, Viola Davis, Jeremy Davies and Jim Gaffigan. The movie is directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck and is based on the novel by Ned Vizzini I’ve placed the synopsis below courtesy of Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide:

Adapted from Ned Vizzini’s 2006 novel, It’s Kind of a Funny Story tells the story of burnt-out teenager Craig (Keir Gilchrist), who checks himself into a mental health clinic citing exhaustion, and finds himself placed in the adult ward due to the fact that the youth ward has been shut down. Taken under… the wing of fellow patient Bobby (Zach Galifianakis), the stressed-out 16-year-old attempts to endure his mandatory five days’ stay without completely losing his mind. »

Neil Patrick Harris Says Dr. Horrible 2 May Be a Feature Film

Made in five days with almost no budget, Joss Whedon’s Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog became an Internet sensation.  With catchy songs and funny performances from Nathan Fillion, Felicia Day, and Neil Patrick Harris as the title character, it’s not difficult to see why it caught on so quickly.

Now sequel plans are in the works.  Speaking with MTV, Harris revealed that Whedon, brothers Zack and Jed, and Maurissa Tancharoen would like to make Dr. Horrible 2 a feature film, but nothing is set in stone at this point.  Harris points out that they don’t want to make a huge blockbuster feature, but also not something so cheap that it wouldn’t be worth it to send it to theaters.  He also made the point that the three leads have to manage a potential sequel with Harris on How I Met Your Mother, Fillion on Castle, and Day as the writer, »
