Last season, there was no danger of The Young and the Restless being cancelled because, back in 2014, it had been renewed for multiple seasons. The CBS soap doesn't have that guarantee in season 44. It's still the highest-rated soap on television but, these days, you never know what can happen. Will it continue to dominate the genre for years to come? Et's Denny Directo caught up with the soap opera's iconic stars at CBS Television City in Los Angeles on Wednesday, where they opened up about their big milestone -- and revealed whether or not shooting love scenes gets easier after all these years.

"No, [it does not feel like 30 years has passed]," McCook said. "It feels like five or 10. I know I've been here a while, but 30 years is hard to wrap my brain around. When we started we thought, 'Ok, five or 10 years is going to be a good run!' And it would've been. Twenty years is a good run too but 30 has been amazing and we're going strong."

Buddy Bregman, a conductor, arranger and composer who worked with the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, Ethel Merman and Bing Crosby and on films including The Pajama Game, has died. He was 86.

Bregman died on Sunday evening in Los Angeles after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease, his family announced. Survivors include his daughter Tracey Bregman, who plays Lauren Fenmore on the CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless.

His uncle was the legendary Broadway songwriter Jule Styne.
