Stephanie Seymour showed off her supermodel figure on the beach in St. Barts yesterday. She's there on her annual holiday vacation with family, including on-again husband Peter Brant, and their kids. Stephanie raised a few eyebrows during last year's trip, when the bikini-clad model kissed and cuddled with her 17-year-old son Peter Jr. on the beach, though they were quick to shoot down any detractors saying that they are simply very close. Later in the year, Stephanie said that she had been feeling insecure over a 10 lb weight gain, so played up the affection with Peter Jr. to detract attention from that. Since then, Stephanie says she's been working out and was looking fantastic as she enjoyed the tropical weather with friends. View Slideshow › »

Forbes is reporting that the higher-ups at the Bentley car company are not particularly thrilled about Paris Hilton being photographed by paparazzi cruising around in a bright pink Bentley Continental Gt.
This $212,800 car is designed to appeal to younger drivers with (obviously) a lot of money, but Hilton isn't exactly the ideal spokeswoman. An insider tells Forbes that while the company appreciates that "celebrities and influencers" buy its cars, but "there's a certain element still buying it possibly for very different reasons: the follow-on crowd who just said, 'Well, so-and-so is driving the car, so I want one.'"
To counteract spokespersons like Hilton, Bentley's recent marketing campaigns have featured Carine Roitfeld, the former editor of Vogue Paris; polo player/model Nacho Figueras; and Peter Brant, an art expert/collector.
Bentley wouldn't be the first company to not want publicity from certain celebs. Back in August, Abercrombie & Fitch paid Mike »
Veteran supermodel Stephanie Seymour recently called police after an argument with her teenage son.
The 42-year-old beauty, who last year reconciled with her estranged husband Peter Brant and called off their divorce, fell out with 18-year-old Peter Jr. after allegedly cancelling a 4 July family visit.
Local police lieutenant Richard Cochran, of Greenwich, Connecticut, has now confirmed cops were called, but the incident was deemed to be a civil matter.
He tells the New York Post's gossip column Page Six, "The son was going to visit with the mom, and the mom cancelled... It was all civil in nature." »
Fighting over money and property is par for the course in a celebrity divorce. But these five couples, compiled by the Huffington Post , took things a step further: Stephanie Seymour and Peter Brant : The nude bust they fought over was in Seymour's image, but it was commissioned by Brant. Fortunately, they called off their divorce, so now they can share it. Victoria Duffy and Dennis Hopper : Their divorce battle continues even after Hopper's death, with Duffy recently filing a lawsuit demanding some strange items back: her exercise bike, a butcher's block, and, weirdest of all, asparagus tongs. Once and for all, Stephanie Seymour and her 18-year-old son, Peter Brant II, were not really engaged in a steamy lip-locking embrace. It was just role play. Yes. This whole thing just got a lot weirder. The 42-year-old model, who was snapped in January by sneaky photogs on a St. Bart's beach dressed in a bikini while strolling and kissing her eldest kid in what looked like a passionate clench, had dismissed the crazy talk about their affection on Oprah. Likewise, her son took to Facebook right afterwards to say they had "nothing to hide" and that not only is he not dating his mother, he wouldn't because he is openly gay. But now, Seymour is talking to Town & Country magazine, where she »

The retired catwalk beauty became embroiled in an ugly court dispute with the publishing mogul in the wake of their 2009 split as they attempted to thrash out the details of their separation and custody arrangements for their three children.
They were both ordered to undergo random drug testing at the other's request, while Seymour also accused her partner of spying on her. But last year, the warring couple decided to end the court battle amicably and give their marriage another try.
Seymour has now revealed she reached out to Brant after becoming convinced the public spat was being fuelled by their legal teams and they are now seeing counsellors in a bid to get their relationship back on track.
She tells America's Town & Country magazine, "The 'dirty fight' is all about winning, not healing. It's fueled (sic) by people you're paying. It is the lawyers talking and not you... (I told him) 'Let's get rid of all of these people. I have more confidence in you, and I would hope that deep down you would have more confidence in me, that we can work this out'...
"Of course we're in therapy. And then I have my own therapist, and the kids have theirs, and there is nothing wrong with this." »
After a year of ugly court hearings and accusations of infidelity, unfit parenting and drug use, an Indian blanket helped Stephanie Seymour and Peter Brant call off their messy divorce proceedings. Seymour tells Town & Country's May issue that the blanket, a sentimental memento that she returned to Brant during their divorce battle, made her realize how out of control the war had gotten and helped the two reconcile. "The 'dirty fight' is all about winning, not healing," Seymour said. "It's fueled by people you're paying. It is the lawyers »

Just a couple of months after she faced criticism for a series of photos in which she and 18-year-old son Peter Brant frolicked rather intimately on a beach, Stephanie Seymour is back in her bikini -- again at St. Barts, this time with two of her younger children.
And, we're happy to report, no hint of anything that could even be slightly construed as inappropriate behavior is detectable.
As per that, son Peter responded to the stir over the original photos, calling it a "malicious attack" in a statement to Gawker and adding that his mom is like that with all her kids and, hey, he's gay anyway:
I would just like to say that these pictures have been taken completely out of context, my mother and i are very close as she is with all her children. she often hugs and kisses me and my siblings in an manner that is intimate, »

Remember that time Stephanie Seymour and her son Peter Brant Jr. were snapped looking pretty close on a Caribbean beach? Well, we sure do and so does Oprah Winfrey. She asked Seymour about the controversial photos when the model appeared on the Feb. 4 "Ultimate Supermodel Reunion" episode of "The Oprah Winfrey Show."
Seymour explains the media had misinterpreted the pictures, "I've gone through a lot in the past two years, and I gained a lot of weight, and it really upset me. So I spent two days indoors, and when I came out and finally decided to just go outside, my son was so happy to see me."
Seymour says she and her son had no idea that the pictures were being taken and that they would cause such a controversy. "He was wooing me and gave me a big hug and a kiss, and we had no idea that »

More power to Stephanie Seymour and son Peter Brant II, who says their paparazzi-captured seaside smooch was "taken completely out of context." Who are we to know—or judge? Besides, it's not like the couple's, er, the duo's, er, their public display of affection is the first to, rightly or wrongly, give star-watchers the heebie-jeebies: 1. Angelina Jolie and Her Brother Share a Special Moment: Geez, was it already more than a decade ago that Jolie won her Girl, Interrupted Oscar, and capped the night with a celebrated (and debated) smooch with James Haven? Shouldn't we be over this by now? 2. Al Gore Sucks Major Face With Tipper Gore at the 2000 Democratic Convention: No »
A kiss is just a kiss. Even if it['s a full-on mouth smooch with mom. So says Stephanie Seymour's 18-year-old socialite son, Peter Brant II, who issued a statement on his Facebook fan page (yes, the dude has one) smacking down tabloid insinuations that a liplock on the beach last week with his supermodel mom is somehow indicative of an incestuous relationship. How does he explain the salacious photos that have been making their way around the Net? "I would just like to say that these pictures have been taken completely out of context, my mother and i are very close as she is with all her children. she often hugs and kisses me and my siblings in an manner that is intimate, any mother in the world »
The media is in a tizzy over the pictures of bikini-clad supermodel Stephanie Seymour frolicking on the beach with her “young, handsome, impeccably torsoed” … son. Immediately, websites and commenters alike were referring to their “incestuous” behavior, without stopping to consider that maybe Seymour was simply “engaging in innocent maternal affection,” writes Mary Elizabeth Williams on Salon , noting that Seymour was on a family vacation at the time—and the son in question is openly gay. Peter Brant II has already shot back at critics, calling their embrace innocent. It’s sad, Williams concludes, that “even with America's bottomless appetite for »
