I've had a chance to direct some children's shows over the years, and it's one of my favorite things to do because they bring so much energy to set.


Though it is often said that he was perfect for the role of Frohike in The X-Files (1993) and later The Lone Gunmen (2001), his being cast in it was completely accidental. The producers had already seen several actors for the part but found casting it difficult.
