When Nicole Richie casually debuted her new lavender hair color on March 3, it made us stare in awe and, to be honest, a little confusion. Why purple? Why now? Should I dye my hair too? Luckily, the colorist who's responsible for the new hue, Danny Moon, is dishing on Richie's daring look. Unlike celebs like Margot Robbie and Kate Bosworth, who dyed their locks for roles, Richie just wanted to do something different. "She was itching to try a new pastel shade," Moon, a Pravana guest artist [...] »
Chicago – Jason Statham has become an amorphous blob in the action genre, but an amorphous blob who is his own archetype, nonetheless. With the “Expendables” movies he began to take the genre torch from Sylvester Stallone, and now working from a script by Stallone in “Homefront”, his Americanization is nearly certified. That being said, watching Jason Statham tattoo a bald eagle on himself might be more enjoyable than his latest addition to a bloated filmography, “Homefront”. That, or staging a debate with Stallone and Statham about gun control.
Screenwriter Stallone adapted a novel by Chuck Logan with intent on assembling an old fashioned tale of home security, with any and all genre connections welcome. One of her other costars, Kristen Stewart, was also on hand as well. The Twilight highlight portrays Bosworth's sister in the flick. And while the 23-year-old hasn't dyed her hair like Bosworth, her brunette locks certainly seem to have a tinge of red nevertheless. Speaking of Stewart, the gal recently tried her hand »

Hot off the heels of Nicole Richie debuting freshly dyed purple hair yesterday, now Kate Bosworth is rocking red locks! The beautiful actress (who typically rocks pretty blond hair) can pretty much pull off any look she wants, and this ravishing new shade is quite striking on the star. She told E! News during New York Fashion Week last month that she dyed her hair for her new role in Still Alice, and we think she looks simply lovely. The brilliant color complements her fair coloring and proves to add a touch of radiance to her look quite effortlessly. And while Bosworth's fresh beauty update was indeed for work, we totally support experimenting with brilliant colors this »
It looks like Kristen Stewart is happy to be back at work. The 23-year-old actress stepped out on the NYC set of her new movie Still Alice earlier today grinning from ear to ear. Bundled up in two shirts and a black denim jacket paired with red pants, sneakers and dark sunglasses, K.Stew was snapped arriving to set while carrying a backpack. Stewart was all smiles while walking down the Big Apple street as she munched on an Apple and sipped on a green juice. Meanwhile, in addition to acting, Stewart »
Kristen Stewart is on the opposite coast of her La home to shoot Still Alice in NYC, but her routine seems to be consistent. On Monday, the actress picked up a healthy juice, just like she did with friends last month, smiling and eating an apple as she arrived on her new film's set. Dressed in a denim jacket, maroon jeans, sunglasses, and sneakers, Kristen looked cute and comfortable in spite of the cold weather and wind that blew her hair around. It's been a few weeks since we saw her out and about - the last time she made the rounds, she was fresh off a whirlwind trip to Paris, where she shot her first-ever Chanel campaign. We're excited to see what else she does during her time in the city that never sleeps, since she'll definitely be spending a lot of time with Julianne Moore, who plays her mother in the indie drama, »

We're going to go out on a limb here and say that Kate Bosworth didn't get this clothing combo inspiration from Miley Cyrus. Yes, we're assuming the sophisticated Big Sur star doesn't have much to do with the "Wrecking Ball" wild child, and we think that's totally fair. But does that mean the unofficial Texan business suit is having a major fashion moment? Or are both celebs honoring the exit of Jay Leno, the ultimate denim-on-denim advocate? News: Kate confesses her Valentine's and pregnancy plans with Michael Polish! Either way, we have two distinct styles to choose from. The Homefront actress opted for a dark/light look from Guess, featuring super skinny peg legs. »
Kate Bosworth and Michael Polish hit up Guess' star-studded New York Fashion Week party Tuesday, which gave the newlyweds the chance to get dressed up and have a night out on the town. The outing was a far cry from what they have in store for Valentine's Day. "We are just going to spend the day at home. We are just the happiest when we are at home with our dog and cooking something," Bosworth told E! News exclusively. "We will cook something together and turn on the music and just be quiet." Even so, this Valentine's Day—the couple's first since tying the knot—will be intimate and sweet. "He is such a romantic, and I am, too," the And While We Were Here star said. "When »
The 37-year-old actress grew up in a town of 700, Winthrop, Iowa, and daydreamed of becoming a journalist.
"I grew up loving current events," Monaghan tells Zap2it. "You grow up looking out when there are not a lot of other things going on in your hometown."
Monaghan lived in town, but her family had a farm and grew corn and beans. Her summer vacations were spent detasseling corn.
"I would go through rows and snap it off for $5 an hour," she says. Monaghan left Winthrop for Chicago, where she put herself through college by modeling for catalogs.
