He has held the WCW World Title 10 times, and has been the US, Tag, TV, and the US tag champ. He has been the only wrestler to stay in WCW since the late 1980s and he had reconstructive knee surgery in 1991. Steve aka Sting is also the only wrestler from the WCW who has never worked for WWE.

In 1995 Steve Borden trademarked the name 'Sting' in the US, specifically for use in wrestling.
Former WCW World & US Champion.
Has been a member of the nWo wolfpack and the Millionaires' Club.
Is the only prominent modern wrestling veteran to never step in a WWF ring.
Made his professional wrestling debut, as a member of a tag team called "The Blade Runners", with his partner, "Rock", not "The Rock" (Dwayne Johnson).
Borden, Jim Hellwig (later known as The Ultimate Warrior), Mark Miller and Garland Donoho made up "Power Team USA". Sometime in 1986, "Power Team USA" dissolved.
