Arthur Bloom (II) (1940–2006)


Bloom began his 45-year career at CBS at the age of 18 as a mail room messenger. He became a clerk in the news division while working on a bachelor's degree at night school. He got his first directing assignment when he was 21. Three years later, he was named associate director for CBS News, and two years after that, launched "60 Minutes". See more trivia »
