She was an actress and writer, known for Anne of the Thousand Days (1969), Assassin for Hire (1951) and Folio (1955). She was married to Charles Jarrott, David Greene and Anthony Jacobs. She died on March 1, 1991 in London, England.

Had two daughters, Jenny Jacobs Greene (father, English actor Anthony Jacobs), and Lindy Greene (father, director David Greene). Both daughters were born in London, England, Jenny in 1943, Lindy in 1949.
Dark-haired South African-born actress and writer, prominent on British screens during the 1960's and 70's.
She was married to both David Greene and Charles Jarrott. Both these men were unsuccessful British actors who went to Canada in the 1950s, became successful television directors there, returned to Britain to direct TV with far greater success, subsequently became film directors, had much less success in this field and eventually returned to TV, mostly then working in the US. Also, in both cases, the marriages ended in divorce.
