Sister of Lionel Blair
Recorded a single (45) for Ember Records in 1963 as "Miss X". The 'A' side, "Christine", a satirical dig at the notorious Christine Keeler affair, was a minor hit in the UK. It was produced by John Barry, who also co-wrote "Gotta Getaway Now", sung by Blair in the film Be My Guest (1965).
Formed a song-and-dance team with her brother Lionel.
Began performing as a child by entertaining people in air raid shelters in London during WWII.
Her father was a Russian barber, named Myer Ogus, who changed the family name to Blair.
Was an accomplished tap dancer.
