He joined ASCAP in 1959, and his chief musical collaborator was Don Robertson. His other songs include "My Lips Are Sealed", "Condemned Without Trial," "I Was the One," "I Laughed Till I Cried," "Please Help Me," "Not One Minute More," "Ninety Miles an Hour," "I Let Her Go," and "No More".
