ABOUT THE FILM:
Will Morrison (LUKAS HAAS) and Daniel Bloom (ADAM SCOTT) were the best of friends. They grew up together. Went to the same schools. Liked the same records. Loved the same girls. Daniel was Will’s best man at his wedding to Maggie Claire (MOLLY PARKER). Then one day Will disappeared without a word. Half a decade later he re-surfaces and sets off a tsunami of unforeseeable events.

Shot against the gorgeous backdrop of the Canadian Shield, WHO LOVES THE SUN is a thoughtful, evocative portrayal of friendship, love, longing and the sometimes static nature of life. Combining the powers of observance and understatement, director Matt Bissonnette (http://www.matthewbissonnette.com) is able to render an emotional tale of three friends who struggle to find meaning in their lives. WHO LOVES THE SUN features perfectly pitched performances, a great soundtrack from Portastatic, songs from the Silver Jews, and some hilariously realistic bad fighting.

Passenger Side -- The NEW official trailer for PASSENGER SIDE - http://www.passengersidemovie.com

ABOUT THE FILM:
Michael Brown's (ADAM SCOTT) birthday begins with a telephone call from his estranged, drug addicted brother Tobey (JOEL BISSONNETTE). Tobey is totally unaware that it is his older brothers birthday, but he is very aware that his car is broken, and he begs Michael to drive him on various apparently legitimate, vital errands.

As Bruce Springsteen has astutely noted, "a man who turns his back on his family just aint no good", and so Michael puts off his seemingly romantic birthday plans, and with his brother embarks on a sketchy, meandering day long odyssey though the mysteries of Los Angeles County.

As the day wears on, it becomes clear that this drive will lead them to some very unexpected destinations.

Touted by L.A. Weekly as "a thinking man's Judd Apatow Flick" and "a poignant portrait of sibling rivalry and affection" by The Hollywood Reporter, PASSENGER SIDE is the third film from writer/director MATTHEW BISSONNETTE ("Looking For Leonard", "Who Loves the Sun"), starring ADAM SCOTT, JOEL BISSONNETTE and ROBIN TUNNEY, and featuring songs by LEONARD COHEN, DINOSAUR JR., EVAN DANDO, WILCO and many others...

PASSENGER SIDE was recently named to "Canada's Top Ten" films of 2009 by the Toronto International Film Festival.
