Sir Richard Branson has asked to dine with a number of Australian celebrities. The Virgin Group entrepreneur, who is scheduled to stay in Melbourne for one night this weekend en route to the rugby World Cup in New Zealand, has requested the company of 20 stars to entertain after he speaks at the 21st Century Financial Education Summit at Hisense Arena. According to the Herald Sun, Branson will share dinner with swimwear model Lara Bingle, Miss Universe Australia Scherri-Lee Biggs and TV presenter Eddie McGuire, who will also host Branson's Q and A session at the summit. Miss Universe Australia Scherri-Lee Biggs has run into trouble over her choice of dress for this year's beauty pageant final. The 21-year-old Perth-based model, who was praised for her choice of clothes in the 'national costume' round, has been told by pageant organisers during rehearsals in Brazil that her satin gown is considered too "offensive" for the final because it is see-through. Melbourne, Sept 11: Miss Universe Australia is feeling the heat at the beauty pageant after being told that her evening gown and bikini are offensive and revealing.

The 21-year-old contestant Scherri-Lee Biggs was told that her satin evening gown was offensively "see-through" and her bikini way too sexy, the Daily Telegraph reported.

Along with being instructed to cover up, Biggs has also been ordered to make her bikini bottoms larger to ensure it holds everything in place while catwalking on the ramp.

Scherri-Lee Biggs has apologised to Jennifer Hawkins for her recent comments about plastic surgery. The 20-year-old Miss Universe Australia star, who is currently in Sao Paulo for the final of the international beauty pageant, reportedly said earlier this week that supermodel Hawkins had gone "that little bit too far" with cosmetic procedures. Biggs has now made a public apology to Hawkins and insisted that her comments were "taken completely out of context". The 2011 Miss Universe Australia, who recently flew to Brazil for the final of the international beauty pageant, said that she believes former Miss Universe Hawkins has gone "too far" in her quest for beauty.
