And some of your characters that you’ve grown to love are not going to be on the show anymore, and it’s going to end badly for them. It’s going to be a whole new beginning for The Walking Dead. "Who the hell do you think you are?!" Hey punk fans, it's time to revisit this cult classic. Described as "the definitive [film] of the punk phenomenon", the punk rock drama Sid and Nancy is getting a re-release this year for its 30th anniversary. The film stars Gary Oldman as Sex Pistols bassist Sid Vicious, who tried to start a solo career after the band broke up in 1978. The film profiles his turbulent and destructive romance with his girlfriend Nancy Spungen, played by Chloe Webb, a heroin-addicted groupie who was found dead months later. The cast includes David Hayman, Andrew Schofield, Xander Berkeley, and Courtney Love in a small role. It's always cool to see great films return to theaters for a restored re-release. Have fun. Here's the new 30th anniversary re-release trailer for Alex Cox's Sid and Nancy, from The Guardian: Morbid biographical story of Sid Vicious (Gary Oldman »

Jeffrey Dean Morgan and others promoted to series regulars for The Walking Dead season 7

8 July 2016 4:30 AM, PDT | Flickeringmyth | See recent Flickeringmyth news »

It looks like we’ll be seeing a lot of Negan in the seventh season of The Walking Dead, with AMC announcing that Jeffrey Dean Morgan has been promoted to a series regular alongside Tom Payne (Jesus), Austin Amelio (Dwight) and Xander Berkeley (Gregory).

That takes the show’s roster of series regulars up to twenty, with those four joining  Andrew Lincoln (Rick), Norman Reedus (Daryl), Steven Yeun (Glenn), Cohan, Chandler Riggs (Carl), Danai Gurira (Michonne), Melissa McBride (Carol), Michael Cudlitz (Abraham), Lennie James (Morgan), Sonequa Martin-Green (Sasha), Alanna Masterson (Tara), Christian Serratos (Rosita), Josh McDermitt (Eugene), Seth Gilliam (Father Gabriel), Ross Marquand (Aaron), Austin Nichols (Spencer).

Of course, it’s likely we’ll be seeing goodbye to (at least) one of those in the season seven premiere…

The Walking Dead Season 7: Who Got Promoted?

8 July 2016 2:42 AM, PDT | TVfanatic | See recent TVfanatic news »

How many series regulars are too many? Who cares?!

That's what we say when learning we'll be seeing a lot more of Jeffrey Dean Morgan as bat wielding maniac Negan on The Walking Dead Season 7, as he's been promoted to series regular.

And he's not alone!

Our friend Xander Berkeley has also been promoted.

In case you forgot what part he's playing in the zombie apocalypse, he's another cray cray guy, monitoring the Hilltop as Gregory.

Let's not forget our favorite fella named Jesus, who has befriended our hero, Rick.

Tom Payne will be back as that long haired lovely and hopefully in a lot more scenes.

Not looking as lovely while on screen is Austin Amelio, whose character, the Savior's Dwight, has certainly seen better days.

All of these extra series regulars brings the total to 20 before The Walking Dead 7 comes back this fall.

But the heartbreaking truth is »

The Walking Dead Bumps Negan And Three More Up To Series Regulars

7 July 2016 2:51 PM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

AMC’s zombie serial is firming up its human component. Now that season six of The Walking Dead is behind us, and season seven is currently shooting, the network is locking down its main cast roster, as it’s been announced today that four of the show’s recurring stars will return as series regulars. One of those? Negan.

We knew that Jeffrey Dean Morgan would return, but now this confirms that he’ll be taking a bigger chunk of screentime. He’s set to reprise his role of the baseball bat-wielding maniac, whose actions in the season six finale shattered the dynamic of Rick’s survivors forever. It’s not certain how exactly he achieved that though, as the network opted for a cliffhanger ending. Fans were left dangling – and will remain dangling until October – when the show cut out before revealing who Negan butchered to death with his bat. »
