The Dancing with the Stars season finale is tonight (May 24, 2016) and the results will produce a winner for season 22. These three dance couples are the DWTS finalists - Paige VanZant and Mark Ballas, Ginger Zee and Val Chmerkovskiy, along with Nyle Dimarco and Peta Murgatroyd. ABC has revealed that for the season finale of DWTS, finalists will perform a third routine dubbed the 24-hour fusion challenge on tonight's show. All of these count for the votes to be crowned Dancing with the Stars winner and handed that famed mirror-ball trophy. Tonight's 24-hour fusion challenge, along with the judges’ scores and viewer votes from last week and this week, will be combined to determine the champion. There's no danger of Dancing with the Stars being cancelled soon as the ABC series has already been renewed for a 23rd season for next fall. However, the network seems to be continuing to cut back on the show's airtime. The show used to air two nights a week and this season, it looks like there will be just 11 episodes. Will the ratings go up this time around or will they continue to fall? Stay tuned.
