Who’s ready for double the Baby Daddy in Season 6?
In the final moments of Wednesday’s finale, which presented a plethora of new paths for the whole gang, Riley dropped a massive bombshell on Danny: She’s pregnant! Who's your Daddy? Freeform has renewed its hit Baby Daddy TV show for a sixth season, which will bring the sitcom to 100 episodes. Executive Vice President of Programming and Development, Karey Burke announced the news in a press release.

Freeform has renewed comedy series “Baby Daddy” for a sixth season, the network announced Monday. The renewal will carry the show past the 100-episode mark.
“Baby Daddy” has a been a sturdy ratings performer with Freeform’s young-skewing audience. The June 15 episode was the sixth most watched original cable scripted series among viewers 18-34, drawing 351,000 in Nielsen live-plus-three numbers. The series airs Wednesdays at 8:30 p.m. Et on Freeform.
“The lines between family and friends are so wonderfully crossed in ‘Baby Daddy.’ You can always count on the Wheeler clan for a big laugh along with heartfelt moments,” said Karey Burke, executive vice president, programming and development, Freeform.
Filmed in Los Angeles, “Baby Daddy” is created and executive produced by Dan Berendsen (“The Nine Lives of Chloe King,” “Sabrina, the Teenage Witch” and “Hannah Montana: The Movie”). The series stars ” stars Jean-Luc Bilodeau, Derek Theler and Tahj Mowry with Melissa Peterman and Chelsea Kane.

Disney is using one of its mobile apps to host an open casting call for “High School Musical 4.” Also in today’s news round-up, Syfy will have a live telecast from Comic-Con this summer.
Disney will hold an open casting call for “High School Musical 4” via its Disney Applause mobile app. From April 18 to May 2, interested actors, singers and dancers between ages 14 and 17 can use the app to participate in video auditions.
Directed and choreographed by Jeffrey Hornaday (“Teen Beach,” “Teen Beach 2”), the fourth installment in the “High School Musical” franchise will introduce a new cohort of East High Wildcats. Dan Berendsen and Peter Barsocchini will write the screenplay.
