Watch: Exclusive Trailer for Offbeat Brothers-in-Trouble Indie 'Deep Dark Canyon' (Video)

Exclusive to Indiewire is the trailer for "Deep Dark Canyon," a film by Silver Tree and Abe Levy (which, in fact, Tree directed while she was eight months pregnant) set to open in Los Angeles on October 19. The film, about two brothers who get in trouble for killing the mayor of a rural American town in a hunting accident, stars Nick Eversman ("Gladiator") and Spencer Treat (ABC's "Missing") as the brothers.  Things get a little murkier because their father (Ted Levine ("Silence of the Lambs") is the town's sheriff.  When the town comes after them, the two flee, and the mayor's family and the town's deputy sheriff ("Freaks and Geeks"' Martin Starr) must try to find them.  Matthew Lillard, Abraham Benrubi, Michael Bowen and Justine Bateman also star. To kick off the sixth season of their Emmy Award-winning animated comedy series, the folks at Robot Chicken have turned their attention to costumed superheroes for the Robot Chicken DC Comics Special, and IGN has debuted the trailer for the season-opener, which consists of footage that was screened back at the San Diego Comic-Con last month.

Lending their voices to the various members of the Justice League and the Legion of Doom are Seth Green as Batman, Robin and Aquaman, Neil Patrick Harris as Two-Face, Alfred Molina as Lex Luthor, Nathan Fillion as the Green Lantern, Megan Fox as Lois Lane and Breckin Meyer as Superman, while other members of the voice cast include Abe Benrubi, Alex Borstein, Clare Grant, Tara Strong, Matt Senreich, Tom Root, Zeb Wells, and Kevin Shinick.

Robot Chicken DC Comics Special will air in the States on Adult Swim on Sunday, September 9th. »

Robot Chicken kicks off its sixth season coming up this September. Seth Green and company are looking to kick off things with a bang by teaming up with DC comics and releasing a special based on their characters. IGN has just debuted the new trailer for the special that looks to focus heavily on not only The Justice League but the Legion of Doom as well. Check out the trailer below. Holy Special, Batman! DC Comics Gets 'Robot Chicken' Treatment

DC Comics characters are getting the "Robot Chicken" treatment in a new Cartoon Network special. According to The Hollywood Reporter, "Robot Chicken" creators Seth Green and Matthew Senreich are getting a one-time DC Comics special on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim. The special is set to air in the fall.

According to TV Guide, Green will voice Batman, Robin and Aquaman, Paul "Pee-Wee Herman" Reubens will voice the Riddler, Neil Patrick Harris will play Two-Face, Alfred Molina will be heard as Lex Luthor, Nathan Fillion is voicing Green Lantern, Megan Fox will play Lois Lane and Breckin Meyer is voicing Superman.

Additional voices will be provided by "Robot Chicken" co-creator Sebreich, Abe Benrubi, Alex Borstein, Clare Grant, Tara Strong, Tom Root and Zeb Wells.
