New York -- There is life after Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark. In her first New York stage venture since her rocky experience as the original director and co-creator of that Broadway blockbuster, Julie Taymor will return to her artistic roots with an Off Broadway production of William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. Starring David Harewood (Homeland) as Oberon, Tina Benko as Titania, Max Casella as Bottom and Kathryn Hunter as Puck, the production will inaugurate Theatre for a New Audience's new home, the Center for Shakespeare and Classical Drama in Brooklyn.  Photos: Broadway Musicals That Have Sung

FilmDistrict to distribute Are We Officially Dating?

FilmDistrict have picked up N. American rights to the film which also includes Chronicle star Michael B. Jordan as well as Miles Teller. Tom Gormican directs the film which tells of three guys who, in an effort to support a friend who's heartbroken after a recent split, pledge to stay single as long as possible. However, the plan falls to pieces when they all fall in love and have to work in secret to keep their vow of being bachelors. According to sources, FilmDistrict are planning to send Are We Officially Dating out to theaters on Jan. 31st, 2014. Also in the cast are Imogen Poots, Josh Pais, Jessica Lucas, Tina Benko and Emily Meade. »

We have new images from Focus Features' Admission, starring Paul Rudd and Tina Fey. Directed by Paul Weitz, the Karen Croner, Dave Weasel and Jean Hanff Korelitz-written comedy opens on March 22nd, and looks like a pretty decent comedy from what I've seen in the second trailer. Also in the cast are Michael Sheen, Wallace Shawn. Sonya Walger, Lily Tomlin, Nat Wolff, Tina Benko and Gloria Reuben. A film about the surprising detours we encounter on the road to happiness. Straight-laced Princeton University admissions officer Portia Nathan (Fey) is caught off-guard when she makes a recruiting visit to an alternative high school overseen by her former college classmate, the free-wheeling John Pressman (Rudd). Pressman has surmised that Jeremiah (Nat Wolff), his gifted yet very unconventional student, might well be the son that Portia secretly gave up for adoption many years ago.
