Michael Bell was born on July 30, 1938 in Brooklyn, New York, USA. He is known for his work on Tangled (2010), Rugrats (1991) and Cars (2006). He has been married to Victoria Carroll since January 1, 1968. They have one child.

Does commercials spoofing his Super Friends (1980) character Zan on Cartoon Network, the cable channel.
Does all the voice-overs for Zale's Diamond Stores.
Was one of the most prominent voice actors of the 1980s, providing multiple voices for G.I. Joe (1985) and The Transformers (1984).
When the animated G.I. Joe (1985) aired, his character, Duke, led the heroes into battle shouting, "Yo, Joe!" in the opening credits. His voice always remained in place, even though the credits were later changed to show the character Flint (who was voiced by Bill Ratner) leading the heroes into battle.
Provided the voice of the Parkay tub for the first five years of the Parkay Margarine commercials.
Taught the voice acting workshop that trained voice actor Cam Clarke.
