Geoffrey Beevers was born in 1941 in Chichester, Sussex, England. He is an actor, known for Clash of the Titans (2010), The Edge of Love (2008) and Legend (2015). He was previously married to Caroline John.

He has reprised his role of the Master in the Big Finish audio dramas "Dust Breeding" and "Master". Both of these starred Sylvester McCoy as the Seventh Doctor.
After Roger Delgado and Peter Pratt, he was the third actor to play the Master, the Doctor's greatest enemy, in Doctor Who (1963). He played the role in the 1981 serial "The Keeper of Traken". He was succeeded in the role by Anthony Ainley, Gordon Tipple, Eric Roberts, Sir Derek Jacobi and John Simm.
Of the four actors to play the Master, the Doctor's greatest enemy, in Doctor Who (1963), he is only one who is still alive, as Roger Delgado, Peter Pratt and Anthony Ainley died in 1973, 1995 and 2004 respectively.
