Franny Beecher (1921–2014)

Franny Beecher joined Bill Haley and the Comets in 1954, replacing guitarist Danny Cedrone, who had died. Beecher's guitar solos became legendary during his time with the band. He left the Comets in 1962, but in 1987 he participated in a Comets reunion and now in his late 70s, he continues to perform and record with the band. See full bio »
