Terence Bayler was born on January 24, 1930 in Wanganui, New Zealand. He was an actor, known for Life of Brian (1979), Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001) and Brazil (1985). He was married to Valerie Cutko and Bridget Armstrong. He died on August 2, 2016 in England.

Trivia (6)

Has acted in both the Doctor Who franchise(twice) and The Harry Potter series.
His father was a lorry driver during the day and a theatre stage hand at night.
Made his professional debut as the male lead in the New Zealand production Broken Barrier (1952), for which he was paid -- by his own account -- "six pounds a week plus food and tobacco".
Though of working-class New Zealander background, he often played upper-crust Englishmen or senior officers.
Trained for acting at RADA.
The twentieth Harry Potter film series cast member to die.
