Trivia (2)

Buried next to wife Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings (author of "The Yearling" and "Cross Creek") in Antioch Cemetery in Island Grove, just north of Ocala, Florida.
Norton Baskin was not an actor. He was an hotelier. He was heavily consulted for the film Cross Creek and advised Peter Coyote (who played him in the film), but the story used by the film was very different from the truth and from Rawlings' book of the same name.
