The sophomore season of the dark family drama “Bloodline,” premiering Friday on Netflix, will hit the ground running, according to star Sissy Spacek. “This season starts and it doesn’t let up. “The remaining siblings are trying to deal with what’s happened,” Linda Cardellini, who stars as Meg Rayburn, said of the second season. “They’re in survival mode.”

Netflix’s “Bloodline” sets a Season 2 premiere date; “The Walking Dead” will get an extra-long Season 6 finale; “The Talk” will once again announce the Daytime Emmy nominations, and more from across the dial in today’s news round-up.
“The Walking Dead” will extend its Season 6 finale timeslot to 90 minutes, according to EW. Much like last year’s finale and the Season 6 premiere, the extended episode will run for an hour and a half on AMC, presumably to maximize the zombie mayhem in an episode that star Andrew Lincoln says made him “physically sick” after reading the script.
For the second year running, CBS’ “The Talk” will exclusively reveal the 43rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards nominations live on Thursday, March 24 from 2-3 p.m. Et; 1-2 p.m. Pt/Ct. The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences will then release the full list online following the live announcement.
