Vivian Bang is a transplant from New York and a graduate of NYU (Tisch School of the Arts). She is best-known for her supporting role as "Soo-Mi" in Warner Brothers' comedy, Yes Man (2008), starring Jim Carrey. Vivian is also one of the upcoming stars of TBS comedy series, _"Sullivan & Son" (2012), produced by Vince Vaughn. Other film credits include _Memoirs of a Geisha (2000)_, Little Black Book (2004), Robot Stories (2003), Henry Fool (1997) and the 2006 Oscar-nominated short, Our Time Is Up (2004). She was awarded Best Actress for the Asian American Film Lab short film, "Elizabeth Ong Is Missing".

Her TV credits include Better Off Ted (2009), Numb3rs (2005), House M.D. (2004), Kath & Kim (2008), How I Met Your Mother (2005), Monk (2002), Sex and the City (1998), The Corner (2000), Becker (1998). Her theater credits include World Premiere of Velina Hasu Houston's "Calling Aphrodite", the Premiere of "Please Stand By with Thumping Claw", off-Broadway & Big Art Group's "Shelf-Life", "Flicker" and the Obie-nominated "Benton Kozo".

In high school, Vivian played the role of "the Star" in her high school's marching band's halftime show called "Magic Music". Vivian also went to school with Ryan Seacrest.
