Voiced a trailer for the sci-fi movie Enemy Mine (1985).

(1979 - 1980) TV commercials for Prime Computers, in character as "Doctor Who" (1963) and accompanied by his "Doctor Who" (1963) co-star Lalla Ward.

Wrote a chidren's book called 'The Boy Who Kicked Pigs' in 1999. Published by Faber & Faber, it is said to be a mixture of the macabre and the humorous.

In the 1970s co-wrote unpublished screenplay for a Doctor Who movie titled Doctor Who Meets Scratchman. Baker wanted Vincent Price to play Scratchman.

1979: Provided narration for a BBC Records LP release of the soundtrack to the "Doctor Who" story "Genesis of the Daleks".

1976: Recorded "Doctor Who and the Pescatons", an original audio story for Argo Records. Later released on CD by Silva Screen Records.

1997: Wrote his autobiography, "Who on Earth is Tom Baker?", published by HarperCollins.

He recited a monologue for the song "Witness to a Murder (Part Two)" from rock band Mansun's album "Six". A copy of his autobiography "Who On Earth Is Tom Baker?" is visible as part of the album's cover art.
