After graduating from Princeton University in 1952, he served two years of active duty as a Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps from 1952 to 1954 as a Naval Gunfire Officer (MOS 0840) serving in the Mediterranean. He later rose to the rank of Captain in the Marine Corps Reserve. See more »
