When it first announced its upcoming subscription service SeeSo, NBCUniversal announced a number of live comedy specials to complement the TV shows and original programs it plans to distribute to subscribers. Now, one of those specials is ready to go. According to TheVideoInk, it’s titled The Guest List: Live From The Barrel House, and it will feature comedians who participated in the most recent season of the NBC reality series Last Comic Standing.

Are you ready for this finale? Michael Palascak, Dominique, Ian Bagg, Andy Erikson, and Clayton English are our top five tonight, ladies and gentleman. One will win the big prize, and the rest will walk away with... nothing, really. Credibility? A line to add onto the "Special Skills" section of a resume?

It's not unusual to hear that Jon Lovitz is the funniest part of a movie. It's more so to discover that that movie isn't a traditional comedy -- it's "Casino Jack," George Hickenlooper's caper-like take on the downfall of Jack Abramoff and the director's last before his death in October at age 47. US comic Andy Dick has apologized for calling a crowd of comedy fans "n**ggers" during a stand-up stint on Saturday night. The funnyman jumped onstage during a routine by Ian Bagg at Los Angeles' Improv and used the defamatory word in an attempt to joke about Michael Richards, who hit the headlines last month for a racist attack on hecklers during his show at the Laugh Factory. Dick, 40, released a statement to the Los Angeles Times newspaper yesterday, explaining, "I chose to make a joke about a subject that is not funny. In an attempt to make light of a serious subject, I have offended a lot of people, and I am sorry for my insensitivity. I wish to apologize to Ian, to the club and its patrons and to anyone who was hurt or offended by my remark."...
